If I'm not mistaken, from the little info you've given, you have a GSM version of the touch pro. You are trying to unlock it with a verizon unlocker that is for the Verizon CDMA Touch Pro. Did you buy the phone on ebay and trying to use it on Verizon or something? If so, it will not work. Please provide some more info so we can help you out.

I think you have the right to be a gsm .. now it's too late =) .. previously locked up most sony ericsson ..
and have something going wrong, I have successfully flash on them .. Apparently again..
, it is harder to get htc to be found by the computer .. "usb" tried several different ways and programs ..

if i can't unbrick, ypu all got something to refer to .. "beware, so it is not happend like as for hynt" GSM BRICK..

Feel like a dumass :P

You may be able to unbrick your phone. If you do have a GSM touch pro, then you should be over on xda-developers forum. There's a huge community there of GSM Touch Pro owners. I also looked up how to unlock the GSM version here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=410150. Let me know if you need more specific help.

Let's start with how are Center for Windows Mobile devices to find the phone .. tried pressing [6] + [vol -] + [reset] together .. nothing ..

Center for Windows Mobile? What's that? How about you let me know what it says when you put your phone into bootloader. Hold down the power button and volume down, then tap the reset button, and don't let go of the power button and volume down untill you see a tricolor screen. Then, let me know everything it says on that screen.

To you and all the others getting that communication error - I was getting it also. To solve it, go to "Settings" - "Connections" - "USBtoPC" and turn "Advanced Network" under ActiveSync off.

Once I did this, it's worked like a charm every time.
I tried this and it still won't work. I've flashed my (2) previous TPs before with no problems at all. I just got my third one from sprint under warranty (brand new phone) and I just tried to unlock it and received the communication error, just after it gos to the tricolor screen and the status bar says "0%". The first time it actually bluescreened my PC, I had to reboot, but the phone was fine. Every time since I get this comm error. Can anybody help me? :(

Got a problem: try to run my Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037 on sprint cdma and phone goes to multicolor, then to progress bar. After that goes straight to 100%. Phone reboots and nothing has changed. I did do the .net framework update... what gives?

If it went to 100%, then it sounds like it worked. Did you do step #7 to confirm that it unlocked?

Hey everyone I know this isa noob issue but I ask for your patience as this is my first attempt at a rom flash. Here's the problem I havedownlaoded both apps and follow the directions (I think) to the T. I am able to use the rom flash app howevere I can't get the hard-spl to open, there is no excuteable file just a config file which sends me to some download site. if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly apperciate it.

i dont know what 2 apps you're talkin about. you only need one to do the unlocking. I can't really give you any specific help until you let us know what phone you have.

Hey, new here but I wanted to say thanks to everyone for the great info and great site... I spent about a week trying to decide what sort of phone to get for my upgrade, and all the info here really encouraged me to go with the TP. To preface my question: after reading and reading and reading (and then reading a little bit more), I finally ponied up the testicles to try the unlock on my brand new fresh out of the box phone. Followed the steps exactly with sweaty palms... got to the tri-color screen, the progress bar went straight from 0% to 100% in about 45 seconds, and was then told it had completed successfully. Thinking something had messed up I checked the bootloader and sure enough it showed 0.37.CMONEX... does this mean it really worked? I can start breathing again?

I am talking aboy the RUU zip file which is the app that unlocks the phone. I should have made that more clear my fault. It would seem that the http://67.228.199.237/forum.ppcgeeks...attach/zip.gifRaphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.zip works just fine as it opens up a dialog box. the file I can't seem to get to work is the RUU file here is what is in the unzipped folder :

Ok, i have a verizon touch pro, and I unlocked it to put some roms on it, and then it started acting up, like never ending vibration when i got a text. So I flashed to the verizon rom, and locked it just to be safe. Well now everything seems ok, and i want to flash a rom to it. When I go to unlock it again, it sits at 0% when its flashing, and then it shows up an error. Is there anything I can do?

Just follow the instructions in post #1 of this thread. The ruu.zip is not in this thread for a reason...cause it's not needed to unlock your phone. Like i said earlier, you only need one file "Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.zip" to unlock your phone. When you've successfully unlocked your phone, then you can move on to the "how to flash" thread.

well i thought if my phone was unlocked i could get metro but one guy said the harddrive wouldn't accept the program

it's suppose to boot back up as normal and look the same. Only change you can see is if you do step #7 to get into the bootloader screen and confirm the SPL version number.

Got it all to work and ended up installing juicy 7. would like one that looks better but all the ones i see come out as .rar files instead of RUU_signed.nbh. Noob at this kind of modding... how do i get the .rar roms to work?

While trying to Unlock Touch Pro .37 i get a error 262 when using active sync on multiple machines (Would grey out device..display.. loading then display percentage bar on device. Never passes 0%). And when trying to flash using MicroSD It presents a Grey Screen "Loading.." in blue text and remains there (i've left it at loading screen for 24hours and no change.). I've tried this for a while now and cant get this to work. Anyone have any advice. I've tried every trick listed on this thread and others (hopefully i over looked one). I am really interested in getting this done asap since i've been using the stock rom for some time now and i seem to hard reset the device every two weeks because it slows to a crawl.

Remove the memory card, then put your phone into bootloader mode and tell us what it says on the first 2 lines (under where it says Security Unlocked)

Did you disable advance network functionality (for unlocking via PC) or format card FAT32 (for unlocking via card)?

I already suggested he disable advance network functionality, in a different thread he was posting in, but he never said if he tried it or not.

Welcome to ppcgeeks...
Have you unlocked your phone? All the instructions are in post #1 of this thread. You need to unlock before you can think about flashing mighty's rom. If you haven't unlocked your phone yet, then what step are you having a problem with?
