I keep getting an error when running the program on my PC. It will reboot my phone to get the tricolor display, and after that nothing. The Program on my pc errors back and my phone remains in the tricolor state until I reboot. I've updated the Framework to 3.5 already.... no dice... I want my 6.5 :'(

It's error 266 on the PC screen, the TriColor screen displays exactly what the original instructions said I would see. After starting the RUU, it would send my phone into the tricolor state, the USB text will display in the white area... My PC ActiveSync will try to look for it and the RRU (I don't know the acronym) will report back with the error #266.

Just thought I would also add that it worked fine on the Verizon TouchPro with the following notes:
PC App said it couldn't complete - lost the connection (don't worry about this, just look at your phone - it will have the tri-color screen as mentioned earlier in the thread),
needed to do stylus reset to get out of the screen,
and it didn't delete any of my data! come things like the advanced Advanced Configuration Tool now work!

No, it doesn't say the CMONEX, it says 0.37.C-SSPL (since i last did this I believe). And ya, i figured that much that the 266 error is about not able to connect to USB... However i will try this on a different computer too... I did forget to mention that I was running this on a Mac with VMWare Fusion running Win XP Sp3.. Ya I know that can be an iffy issue. So I will reply back tonight when I run this via Vista (native installation).

If this doesn't work, I'll be very frustrated. PLUS on XDA developers, they have a new HTC Soft Menu and Notification system imported from Rhodium ROM, and they are saying that I need 21000 ROM... I have 19000+ Sprint HTC TP stock rom...how do I update my ROM to the 21000+ version so I can try these new plug-ins?

I really appreciate your help, thank you so much for your time.

hi i have tried everything and everytime i start the hspl it shows the progress bar only on the computer and then it has a connection error; everytime it already is synced and connected right.

i have a sprint touch pro

my fone (htc touch pro Sprint) cannot finish flashing, i tried the Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.zip and it gives me communication error and i tried loading the set up and it shows the status bar but nothing happens on my fone then i get the connection error.

lol @ puff... i hate sprints crappy modification of the phones case... where can i get the verizon's case the rounding **** pisses me off to no end... since WHEN does business make anyone think of ROUND... WHEN PEOPLE WHEN...

as for the Hard-SPL, I really do have to wonder if their will be a better version of HSPL anytime soon... im hesitate to flash my phone with the SPL's right now that are (from what im reading, no offense to the ELITE team...) glued togeather... (and no i couldnt do it if i was asked or paid but id gladly donate for further work expecially if it turns out that the SPL is responsible for CDMA lacking a working FM feature or even stable with the MFG commands and the such)

I did all the steps, (though the conversion took only about 10 seconds instead of 10 minutes), and to make sure that it worked after my phone rebooted, i went opened the bootloader but i kept running across an error so i'm assuming this didn't work. Was it that i did something wrong?

Specific instructions aren't there because AFAIK there's still no way to unlock via SD Card

Can you please enlighten me? :) My phone still shows "Security Unlocked" with the same info you posted...so how do you know that it's locked? I need to take it in for service as my keyboard died.

oh its very possible, thats how I unlocked my pro months ago. I posted a guide, some have had success some haven't. puff if your willing to test and let me know if I am missing something int he guide I just did without thinking about.

Well I'll have to use this relocker tomorrow for my replacement TP... Glad you guys had it up here... For a second, I freaked out about what would happen if there was no relocker! haha

Got my VZW touch pro on Monday and today I decided to unlock it.

Followed the instructions and used the Verizon files and it worked like a charm.

I used .NET 2.0 SP1 by the way incase anyone is wondering. Was going to download 3.5 but was taking too long and I canceled that idea. lol.

Just wanted to say thanks! This is my first attempt to mod my Sprint TP and everything went very smooth. Read most of this thread, took notes and expected the worst. Had no issues.

Running Vista 32-bit, with Windows Mobil Device Center 6.1 which I left running showing "connected" when I right-clicked "Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037" and selected Run As Administrator.

What I don't understand is why the instructions say the process may take 10 minutes to complete, yet it took less than 30 seconds. The status bar went from 0% to 100% almost instantly and I got a success message.

Powered off into the BL and it shows SPL-0.37.CMONEX just as expected. Reset the device using the style and everything seems to be working fine.

Plugged back into the USB and sync'd fine, did not require new partnership.

Great Job! Now I'm off to select a ROM to use.

my titan and apache both flashed to cricket, but i see no option for cricket carrier on herman in this post, nor in buildos.. any particular important reason, or has it just not been gotten to yet ?

I believe the same carrier cab for the titain will work on the touch pro.

there are three HSPL's now (for the non-verizon ones it is a similar scene to Diamond_C).

1. 0.25.MFG for Sprint/Alltel/Telus/Bell, for hackers only, because otherwise, it is too old, apparently has splashscreen issues and only 128MB ram. but it has mw, it has rtask, etc. etc. ;)

2. 0.37 for Sprint/Alltel/Telus/Bell, for other people, this has no screen issues but no MFG commands.

3. 0.35 for Verizon touch pro's ONLY.

Important:

first, if you have GSM Touch Pro/Raphael (NOT CDMA, NOT SPRINT/VERIZON/ALLTEL/TELUS/BELL), this will brick your device.
to download a compatible hardspl package for gsm touch pro you can go to forum.xda-developers.com.
but if you have CDMA Touch Pro/Raphael, then you have to use this hardspl, not the one at xda-developers!!!

preparations before flash:

1) make sure you have .NET framework installed on your PC! if not, get it from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en
2) if you have vista, WMDC update is recommended: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...ce-center.mspx
3) now decide which Hard-SPL you want to flash. if you have Verizon, flash VZW package (from verizon attachment). if you have Sprint, Telus or Alltel or Bell, flash default package (Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.zip).

instructions:

1) download Hard-SPL package from attachment, extract to an empty folder.
2) you must Have Phone Synced with PC in Windows Mobile!
3) run HardSPL exe that you downloaded before.
4) follow steps in the RUU, and check on the device for prompts after PC shows loading bar.
5) it should go to tricolour screen now and say 0.25.C-SSPL or for Verizon devices it should say 0.35-C-SSPL.
6) SPL flashes, device automatically reboots, job done.
7) to confirm you got it installed, go into bootloader mode (tricolour screen!) and verify the screen shows 0.35.CMONEX or 0.37.CMONEX (or 0.25.CMONEX MFG).

NOTE: you will not see the SPL version during normal boot, that is the OS version, not SPL!
to enter bootloader mode to see version: with the device turned on, press and hold the volume down button along with the power button, then press the reset button with the stylus tip, then release the volume down and power buttons when bootloader tricolour screen appears.

NOTE 2: anyone having problems with the device entering SSPL automatically, please copy SSPLManual.exe from the SSPLManual.zip attachment to the device and run it. then once the screen is in SSPL, run RUU manually. i.e. you run the RUU on the PC, if it isn't obvious.
make sure to get SSPL-Manual specifically for Verizon phones from the verizon package.

NOTE 3: this is unsigned Hard-SPL. no limitations on flashing ROMs or radio packages. also, this has overwrite protection, if someone needs to revert to stock SPL for warranty reasons, a stock SPL downgrade package is also available here.

NOTE 4: do not use this RUU to flash anything else! this is only intended for flashing the Hard-SPL.

NOTE 5: use Relocker *only* if you need to return the phone for warranty. only use it as last step - after reflashing stock OS and radio. Default relocker is for Sprint etc, Raphael_CDMA_VZW_Relocker in the verizon package is for Verizon touch pro's.

I followed above directions and now my phone goes to touch pro screen during boot up and shuts off and keeps repeating over and overwhat did i do? is it bricked? is there a way to rerom it to the stock sprint ron like this?

i cant relock my phone
i flashed to the stock rom then did this
i ran the relocker here
and then went to the tri color screen and on the top it shows
securirty unlocked
then it shows
raph800
spl-.37
MicroP Hermann ( led) v8c85
MicroP-Hermann (ley) v0685
psoc Rph stage_evt v20

im worried about the top showing securitty unloked
i have to send this back to them cause they are sending me a new one.
i need help asap.

A little confused with the unlockers? What is the difference between .25 and .37 beside the splash screen problems? What does MFG stand for and what can it do for me? I just want to unlock the phone and flash custom roms!!! I have flashed before flashing my Vogue!!

Locking TP via SD also works by following the first thread. The only change was I re-named the RUU_Signed.nbh from the Raphael_CDMA_Relocker folder to RAPHIMG.nbh--just like when you re-name when flashing roms via sd.---put that file on root of card. then I put SSPL-Manual_RAPHAEL on phone main memory and ran the file, as per earlier instructions in first post
