Enjoying the rom Tank. One issue with the music i have installed on my store card. Its not being recognized. Any ideas?

What format is music in and if you move a song to device is it recognized then?

Also can you read everything else on SD card or is it possible that it is encryped from a previous ROM

they are all mp3 format. Brand new 16gb drive. Music synced with media player. i can access the music with
the file explorer. seems the htc app doesnt know to look in the store card or somethign.

the store card file system only has one file called /music

If you select a song with file explorer does it play in wmp like it should?

Affirmative. WMP even has all music listed that was imported.

Might be dumb question but would you soft reset and after phone is up and running(task manager icon shows up) then go to music tab and press library and check now playing and artist tab see if anything is showing up

Also do you have an extra SD card that you can put a few songs on in a folder called My Music and check again just want to rule out bad sd card or if it needs to be reformated to FAT32 and resynced with music

Issue fixed tank. My second reset got the music thing searching. Thanks for the help.

It looks like a usual update ruu just follow along and let it update then after it resets go to boot loader and flash a new rom
the one I use installs telus radio so if you like a different radio after new rom is installed go to radio sticky and flash which ever one you like

EDIT: added task29 tool.zip to post 10 on first page

I used the task29 to fix the power / sleep of death issue and also performed a hard reset for double insurance. Should know in the morning if its fixed. When I wake up and its ON then its fixed.

Also I have been having keyboard issues for over a week now. I thought it was all the ROM flashing I had done. They keyboard stopped working Saturday so this morning I flashed back to stock and it still didn't work. Since it was stock I took it to Sprint. They replaced the keyboard today. Not only does it work great but I don't have to mash the keys down. Feels like a brand new device.

I also flashed the latest Tank ROM.
