I've noticed that the FN-SYM key combo doesn't launch the browser. It tries to launch operaL.exe. Anybody know where I can change the assignment of that keypress? I assume it is in the registry somewhere.

Could be a bad download but doesnt seem likely as you probably wouldn't get so far along before noticing issues.
Could be some corrupt files on your SD. Take it out and reset, see if the problem continues. If that seems to work then I'd reformat the card.

twitter seems to not work i keep getting this ("HTCAccountManager" is not a valid Pocket PC application) anybody else gettin this or is it just me?

That is odd.
I know Twitter tab works on SkiRom.
Have you installed anything new?
Was it working before?

i installed resco explorer o8 but thats about it n it seemed to work on the previous build just not this one

Working fine here. Dont have Twitter but Account Manager came up and an attempted login with false info got me a login error.
