I will keep an eye on the Volume program. I too like the finger friendly volume but as of now causing any keys to stop functioning is a dealbreaker for me. Quote:
I have tried post flash to change them with a cab and the Dusk theme seems not to like to give up it's slider icons. Patience...Non Dusk ROM coming soon. Quote:
Messaging tab Photos Music To hide the Softkey bar you need to access the Max Manila options. Just swipe left or right below the calendar. You will initially see 4 buttons come to the screen: Wallpaper - Weather - Calendar - Shortcuts When those are on the screen then tap the center of the Carrier bar up top. Then flip the clock up to access all of the options. To hide the tab icons just press the button "Tab Icons" to show "OFF" then "Slider" to "ON" to enable glass slider. To return to non-fullscreen mode tap the center of the Carrier Bar again.

Re: [ROM] SKI-ROM v4.0 Build 122009 CE OS 5.2.28011 M2.5 - Sashimi Compliant
GREAT job with this ROM. Very pretty mix of the two themes, absolutely love it.
The only issue I am having with it is this. This is a bit of an odd one. I use my Touch Pro's WiFi to connect to Xbox Live with my Xbox 360. I was not able to do this until I started flashing to custom ROM's because for some reason with the stock Alltel ROM I kept getting a message when trying to connect to Xbox Live that my MTU settings were too low. That changed once I started flashing as I have already stated. For some reason I am having the same problem with this ROM. I am being told that the MTU settings on my router, which is my phone, are not high enough. I am not sure if there is some setting cooked into this ROM that has this effect. I have not had this problem with any other custom ROM's I have flashed too. I'm pretty sure this cannot be dealt with directly, however, I wanted to pass the info onto you. |

HKLM\Comm\TCPIP\Parms\EnablePMTUDiscovery = 1 Which means it will set the Do Not Fragment bit on the packet to your network. This will grab the high water mark for the MTU. You will probably have to disable the discovery and create a few keys and force it. There is a registry reference on MS' website, I don't have the link but I have reviewed the content. Well, i'm definitely not one to post in these forums, but I must say that I really love this ROM. It's fast, the battery life seems good, and it's smooth!
My one problem is trying to use Dusk backgrounds... If I install any of them and soft reset, it still just has the dark grey background. Am I missing something? |
