Standard Build File 122309

I'm going to try your Sense 2.1 ROM.

BTW - I had the same issue with the latest build for EmpiROM & EnergyROM.

Unfortunately VZW Tp's being gimped on memory really limits which ROM's can be run on them. I hope you enjoy the Sense 2.1. Let me know how it goes.
I might and I stress "might" create a "Lite" ROM for VZW users. It would most likely still be a sense ROM though.

I just recently flashed to this rom. I'm loving it! I'm just not a big fan of the black/green taskbar icons on the top right. Can anyone send me a link to alternative icons that are compatible with this rom? Appreciate it!

Battery life is excellent. Go to the top of the page, click Search This Thread and type in battery. You'll get a bunch of hits giving good reviews. Of course battery life will vary greatly depending on usage and post flash you have to run the ROM a few days and cycle the battery a couple of times to get an accurate idea on battery life.
In other words---Just Flash It!!!!!!!! :headbang:

I am running standard SKIROM with max manila 2.7 and it is working just fine as for VGA. Now I do have th problem texting and icons are in the way of the text box in landscape mode. Other than that I am ok with that. I am waiting on the fix from someone.

Sorry Winmoonebie if I am wrong on this, but that is how I was reading it.

thanks...Jarrod

I am running the new max2.7 on the Standard and I am not seeing an issue in LS.....weird.... This set up is flast NASTY (good)!!!

Gonna have to do some digging bro. Tsowens WM6.5 custom Taskbar threadis full of info on the subject as well as the quirks to 6.5.x. You can also google Bilbobrian or M6 they both also have versions that will work but may give you a few minor bugs. They are also discussed in the Tsowen wm6.5 thread. First off, I like the this ROM, but there are a few problems I don't understand. For one, the weather database is the pits. I can't find my city or anyone elses. It does say Chicago, but I don't live there. I rather have my own location in there, because the northside temps can vary greatly from the southside. Second, I can seem to find a tab for programs. In the last 100 ROMs I loaded there was a tab for program Icons. But I can not find one here. I think I will try the Sense 2.1 next. The clock on this one is a little small.

Couple bugs I've found:

When on the pictures tab, after you click on a picture to go full screen, the whole phone freezes, and it's off center (requires a restart). I reflashed, to see if this was an issue with my flash, and found that it wasn't.

Also, when going landscape, everything slows way down.

If this is a repost to what has been posted before, I apologize. Other than that, nice work, and I look forward to seeing future releases of this rom.

Hi ahuskins, i flashed the sense 2.1 ROM and am digging the UI, I changed the pagefile to 6 (from what i've read the best setting for VZ) and after install, i only have approx 6MB of Program Memory Free (plenty of Storage mem).

Any thoughts as to why?

OK, I installed the Sense 2.1 Build 122509 ROM now, didn't care too much for the other one. But there is still the problem with the weatherbase. Anyone have an idea on how I can update it? :dontknow::dontknow:

JVH3 Weather data base editor 2.1 has worked for me on ALL 2.5 ROMs I have loaded bro.(It's been updated for 2.5 but I haven't upgraded with no issues) I live in a little podunk town and have to use it to get my weather in my area. For some reason on my device with ANY custom ROM I have ran My Weather by Google only works perfect when I am roaming or on a 1x connection.... Google Maps works perfect regardless. GPS finds sats quick. It's an issue with my device without doubt now....I have had four of them in my studies.

Here is the the link for the editor.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=546141
