I will be removing the Opera10 beta 2u from future roms. If you use opera 10 beta 2 (NOT 2U!) the delay goes away. There is a thread on XDA which has all versions. Search there. This is confirmed.

Hey All, ahuskins turned me on to this and it's really cool, there's a good chance we'l see it in the next version but I figured you could play with the cab until it's cooked in. The cab install is simple, works and looks great!
Enjoy.

How does this affect the text programs that are already in the rom? Does it just over ride what is there when you install the cab?

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.7 (WindowsMobile; PPC; Opera Mobi/35267; U; en; Presto/2.1.1))

It has zero effect on the cooked in mods. After install, the HTC-esque messaging in Sense will appear the same. If you go into classic WM messaging (Hit All Messaging from the Messaging Tab and select a convo) you will see the colored bubbles.

you must put the phone in the bootloader mode by pressing power button and volume down while you soft reset. then you simply flash the stock exe rom and your phone will be back to normal. Hope this helps :)
