Man cht 1.7 is easily the best thing that happened for manilla 2.5

amazing customization! and i agree the lag time on the slider(from home) is almost nil!

lets see what root does with this one!


Anyone notice their wallpaper moving around tho?

Initially looks like this:



Then when i go to the lock screen this stretch and skew:



after unlocked the wallpaper stays the same:



Sometimes it fits perfectly... Then the lock screen comes on and the size increases.... I dunno what triggers this tho :\

mine moves up about 5 pixels or so when i lock it, but then moves back when i unlock. everytime for me :\ maybe its your background image, i dont know.

How do you do a hard reset on this thing? Usually I go to clear temp and put in the 1234 code and it hard resets. Now all I find is the soft reset option. Just flashed the phone and want to the a hard reset before putting all my info back on.

hold down power, vol down, and the center dpad button(make sure you dont press down one of the d pad arrow buttons with it, its easy to do and will make it not hard reset) immediately after pressing the soft reset button. always works for me.

I have never done a hard reset after flashing any rom.
Don't see a point in it myself.

You sure you're on MAXDARKROOT? That ROM is no longer supported/cooked.
I'd suggest jumping to one of the most up to date ROMS, any of the XXX series.
IMHO the latest Co0kie 1.7 mod is better than the Max Mod. While Co0kie 1.6 is cooked in (might be run with customizations) you should be able to install 1.7 without any major hiccups.

I question it also because if you are on maxdark the instructions should get you what you need.

hmm. i think that maybe i just have had a bad flash. it was running normal and smooth, up until yesterday. things started to get verrrrry laggy. and then the bottom bar completely disappeared. i would reset and nothing would happen. so i finally did a hard reset and started over, once again, everything worked fine. that afternoon it got really laggy again. i then reset the device to see if it would go back to normal and was stuck at the startup screen for like 30 minutes. after that i did another reset and the device like wiped itself. all i did was stick the pen in the hole. and it did a full hard reset...

i think ill just wait and deal with stuff until the next release, but i just thought this was really weird.
