Yes, I had this problem with a couple different Roms, try zipping from recovery again to see if it works. Mine had said something like bad Rom , aborted installation, but just tried again and it worked. Also, check and make sure before putting on sdcard that it is MB NOT KB. One I kept trying was a bad zip file, it was telling me the zip was 95kb instead of 95mb, actually it was this one. Don't believe it is the fat of the ROM, believe it has to do with the way your computer recognized it and copies. the ROM will be Mb in the 90 when you mouse over the zip file on your computer. Hope this makes sense,

Ok, installed and played around with it for a bit. So far loving the speed and the added features that 2.1 allows. Sadly I have had some issues though. Phoneflicks, the Bank of America app, and presumably any app that requires you to open a webview inside of the app doesn't seem to want to connect. I will have to play around more to see if it is something else that I have installed (like Google Goggles maybe) that is causing the issue or not. If someone else could test and verify.. try the Phoneflicks app or the Bank One app and attempt to log in (on either) which will try to make a connection to a website and fail...if it doesn't fail then it is something on my phone.

Just tried PhoneFlicks and got the same result, which sucks cuz I use that app alot, actually more than the actual netflix site (2.1 still worth it tho! lol).

I'm loving this ROM so far... it's FAST!

The only issue I'm seeing is that the caller ID system is messed up. Every incoming call or text is showing up as one ID (which is wrong).

Anyone else experiencing this? Any fix?

Do you have the Facebook HTC Sync setup? I have found that to be the issue. Deactivate it and volia, correct caller ID info.

Where is that option? I don't recall activating it. Maybe I did accidentally, heh.

its in settings accounts and sync.....mine worked fine until today, i manually dialed a number and it showed some random contact from my facebook whos not even in my phone contacts. i deactivated facebook sync and now it doesnt do that, but i do like to have facebook sync activated so hopefully it gets fixed.

I did have this problem with the 1st rom, the same with text. I did a wipe and started fresh with 2.0b and have had no problem with it. My phone did die last night after the radio update, but I could have had something running in the background(not sure).

I tried to use the kitchen to install footprints, but it will freeze in boot. It seem no matter how I try to install it, it freezes. Could be i need newer files for the newer rom. I normally dont use it, but I am going on vacation and thought it would come in handy.
