Makes me wonder if it is possible for an ad filter to work on 4g as well as it does on 3g.

When we started this port,there was a browser problem with loading web sertificates.
That problem was never completely solved,but add filter kinda helped.
Seems like problem with browser still there,also it might be connected to Golf app isuue.

I remember we had to use browser from market and it worked fine.
I have speedy 2.79 ROM,will try that browser amd sertificates
I also had same 4g problem in downtown Seattle on Synergy ROM week ago,thought its a network...

I hope so. I nandroided back to original Vin rom. The ads fix makes the browser way too slow. Oh well worth a try

Sounds good Vin. I've noticed slow browser issues on a bunch of roms, this one is so fast in 3g. Thanks for looking into a 4G ad solution.

I am curious... about to flash poison to check out 3g vs 4g adfree browsing.

Hmm, good on poison- even speakeasy.net, which I used to have issue with. I don't know....

Okay, did a little test today. flashed another rom without ad tweaks, browser was very slow again. installed latest adfree from the market (updated today), setup, reboot. browser is lightning fast again in 3g. Tried 4g, exact same behavior as before. 4g turns off, pages half load,etc. So opened adfree, hit revert, and tried to surf but it was still messed up. so rebooted, now 4g works and ads are back. So basically, adfree works in 3g perfect, if you want to run 4g, need to revert adfree and reboot. Not ideal but thats what I found. I wonder why nobody has mentioned the 4g bug to the developer?
Looks like you don't need to reboot each time either

My guess they were using tapatalk for forums,plus Google works fine on 4g and this browser

I went to d/l from market to test it out and saw the recent reviews, including: "After EVO 4G update 6/4 app crashes mobile network.... " reading some other reviews it appears GolfLogix needs to update since OTA, which much of this rom is based upon.

Edit: and yes, it did the same here.

It actually runs fine on the OTA , Haus' stock OTA rooted and DC13's new rom based off the OTA (I have ran it on both Haus' and DC13's ... It is killing data and cell svc on all the variations of the speedy port (Mik's, Leo's, MisFit's, Synergy and OMJ's ... have tried all these too) for some reason ... Don't know why ppl in the market are saying it doesn't run on the OTA because it does, never can trust most of those reviews from all those noobs! I appreciative u checking it out though
