do either of you have the brightness bug? that's assuming your wifes phone is running this rom, maybe her's has the bug causing more drain? have u checked the up & awake times?

J just noticed, there's an option to have a sound played when you lock and unlock the screen. Is there any way to change that sound. I want to use my Codec open and close sounds from MGS

I have been running GB rom with sense 2.1 and I have found that yahoo messenger does not recognizes the front camara on my EVO only the rear and even so it kind flicker a lot. besides this I have not anything else. Now one great thing that I like about OMJ GBrom with sense 2.1 it the battery life the other day I perform a small test where I charge my phone to 100% and left all night long without charging just on standby and the result was; after 9 hour of stand by I still had 69% of battery left, this has never happened to me before normally on other OMJ roms the battery would close to 10% or 20%. This being said, thank OMJ for a great great ROM. Looking forward for future Roms

I kept trying and it didn't work so I just ended up restoring Beautiful Widgets now problem solved lol. But do you know any good kernels that we could flash for a little better battery life? I tried the one in my sig but it said something about data.img or w.e

another added bonus of the new gingerbread roms is the phonebook actually downloads to my car (jetta tdi) via bluetooth. for some reason on froyo it would never sync up.

the sounds are located @

\system\media\audio\ui\Lock.ogg

&

\system\media\audio\ui\Unlock.ogg


you have to convert your audio files to .ogg then push to \system\media\audio\ui

unfortunately being a ported rom, there will be issues like this where some things don't work 100%

I forgot the plug in my phone last night, and surprising after 9 hrs it had only dropped about 10%

I only run the stock kernel, so I have no idea which kernel (if any) would be better

This rom is definitely amazing...I would keep it as my everyday rom except that 4g for me is a must. I pay for it...and I absolutely use it all day at work to wireless tether my laptop en lieu of the dreaded and restrictive government network. Can't wait for 4g, with that enabled this rom will be on another level then the other gb roms out there...Sense 2.1 ftw!

We both have the brightness bug and both have novatec screens. I checked today and my up/awake times are the same. I have not checked hers.

I have the Novatec screen as well and my awake & up time are no where near the same.

So I appreciate all the work youve put into this ROM. But no camera, no camcorder and no 4G. What a useless Piece of Cr*p. Why in the hell would anyone want to use this just so they have some new flash UI tweaks. What a complete waste of my time trying to get this crap to work and installing and all. You should put in HUGE bold letters what doesn't work in this ROM. Not all of us have all the time in the world to read thru all of these threads....people do have lives other than flashing ROMs and troubleshooting them.
