A guy maned Tmartin03 at xda just released a rooted version that is flashable. I am waiting a little bit with OMJ's Froyo version to see if he might have a release soon.

yah..tmartin03 released it..rooted and deodexed..dling right now..4mins! all the links are getting hammered..from what others sayin..its hella fast..and smooth..

My official determination- if you like the stock Froyo, upgrade to this. It's faster and smoother. If you want something that looks like the GB we're all used to already, go with Deck's or CM7 (or whatever else you might prefer).
