i tried flashing this three times and it wouldnt boot up it was stuck on screen with the word android.

i tried flashing another rom OMJ i think it worked just wondering if i missed a step or something

Did you fully wipe your phone? Are trying to load a different kernel?

Yes I fully wiped the cell and sd card... Before rooting and then wiped it again in boot screen.... I was successful in flashing omjs rom. I was just wondering if I was the only this happened too.

lol. I've flashed them, but really don't know what they are, either. I know they are the dangerous ones -- see "using phone as paper-weight" if done wrong. I think they are specific to AOSP or Sense, and some of them are "SBC" which has something to do with saving battery life. Can we get a little help in the understanding area, or has everyone that knows this crap switched to a 3D?

Just think of kernel as the main driver for the phone (you know how you have to install drivers/software for a mouse, printer, or video card to work and communicate with the software).
SBC is a procedure written into the kernel to fully charge an entire capacity (some manufacture set their battery to charge below full capacity, like 90% of its capacity) of a battery by way of trickle charging.

Only way I know of is flashing a sense rom.
