Re: [5-15-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [1.0][2.3.3 Stable][1.2c][2.3.4 Beta]

1.2c flashed. 4G still boots up. Darkhorse theme doesnt really go well with this. Voicemail notification keeps on popping up even though it has been setup. Going back to 1.2b. Will wait for next update.

Has anyone gone from 1.1 to 1.2c without a full wipe?
All good?

I tried it but the results were not stellar, had to re-flash with a complete wipe.

Re: [5-15-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [1.0][2.3.3 Stable][1.2c][2.3.4 Beta]

no change logs for 1.2b and 1.2c?

from my experience, i do not mind the 4G turning on at boot up. Calkulin's 2.2 froyo rom does this, and I actually use 4G so having it on at boot does not bother me.

mind you, when i plan to goto a no 4G area, i always turn off my 4G, so i attempt to be aware of turning it on and off.

Just trying to gear myself up for googles new cloud based music programming.

Smokin new rom!
Thanks!
I know with the Gallery, you can delete it w/o repercussions. I would assume with Music you can do the same, but Nandroid before you attempt.

Use Root Explorer/File Expert (a file explorer that lets you modify the system)

Ex. w/File Expert

*Go to /system/app
*Scroll down until you get to Music.apk
*Click Menu - More - Mount - Mount As Read Write
*Touch and Hold Music.apk
*Operation options should come up
*Click File Operations - Delete
*Click Menu - More - Mount - Mount As Read Only
*Done

I would complete a quick reboot and see how all runs.

Complete this all at your own risk, but if you Nandroid, then you should have CYOA

Good Luck

I love this rom, I just have two questions, do I need to flash any kernnel and what is going to improve if I do it?
How do I install a Spanish dictionary for the keyboard?
Thanks. Good work, this one is a keeper!
