Re: [3-25-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [rc6][REAL STABLE]

fresh install of rc6 w/darkhorse theme, on phone call about 10 min or more will get random reboots, when back to rc5 w/darkhorse.

I'm using Handcent, just rebooted and all the messages loaded correctly. Maybe try a fresh install along with the wipes.

Re: [3-25-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [rc6][REAL STABLE]

be sure to delete the right one. I accidentally delete the phone app on my daughter's phone to fix the VVM error. was the closest thing I came to bricking the phone.

A error window kept popping up and I could not even get into recovery because it covered the option. finally I had a stroke of genius and put it in Airplane mode (which I could get too) and that stopped the error pop up. Then I was able to get into recovery and reflash the ROM

Re: [3-25-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [rc6][REAL STABLE]

I am running deck's RC6 with dark horse theme. when I go to settings/accounts & sync and try to add facebook it just revert back the accounts & sync screen. It never allows me to enter my userid and password.

Is there anyone else having this problem?

thanks...tannerj

What kernel are you using? It always reverted back on me whether I was on Sense or AOSP and regardless of the kernel. If there's a trick, I'd sure like to try it. There's several threads on XDA with this issue as well and debate whether or not it really extends the battery life. Even on PRL Auto, I was getting 31+ hours on Manila Carbon Fiber 2.3 wiuth stock #15 kernel......I am still tweaking on RC6 to see what I can squeeze out of the battery.

There is something wrong with that transparent black FB app. I am rethemeing a new one now and it should be ready soon.

Re: [3-25-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [rc6][REAL STABLE]

I believe I just bricked my brother's phone! I rooted (unrEVOked). Put the files on the root of the SD just as I had done on my EVO and now his phone won't boot at all! At first the phone gave me the little Android guy with the open box and now nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Put it to charge and there is not indicator light, not good!
