when we update this do we have to run the gapps from 4-5-11 if your coming from rc7 or do we just update the rom only ?

As for the battery issues, I have been using SavageZen's latest SavagedZen-1.0.1-CFS-HAVS-WiMAX-GB-signed.zip
The flash was resolved by installing one of the old Flash 10.2's that were initially releasr (Suprise Flash) and then going to the market to update that. Flash works perfectly now.
Great ROM Deck and looking forward to RC8.

OMEGAKAI - If youre loading a rom(not from backup) you will always want to wipe your temp files in recovery before loading the rom. To answer your question about the gapps zip, yeah, if you want those apps, youre going to need to flash that after the rom. JUST BE SURE, you dont restart after flashing the rom zip. You need to flash that gapps zip right after you load the rom, BEFORE YOU RESTART. Hope this helps! \\:D/

I have flashed and just getting it all setup as I had on CR6. So far, no FC's, no lag, all is running smooth and responsive. I haven't had the chance to really play with it, but with all the installing and setting up, it will go through the paces. Nothing major to report back, but I will post any positive or negative results if there is anything worth noting to help. Good luck.

with RC8:
-finally 4g is working, and its working well. with every RC until now, including all of the CM7 ones, 4g just sucked on my phone, and I have good 4g coverage.
-GPS still a little sketchy
-4g Notification Power widget is working much better.
-Camera seems to be working a little better.

I want to put SZ on here for the battery but it's working so well that I dont want to change anything :|

I've been running RC-8 for about 36 hours now, and I have to say, Gingerbread is a great improvement over 2.2, and Deck, as usual, has perfected this release as he always has (in his past device releases). Battery life appears to be at least 50% better for me (with the same usage as on previous Android versions), and I find some of the built in functions of Gingerbread have eliminated some previously necessary utility apps. Using the stock launcher and I find I dont really miss Sense either. Kudos to Google and especially to Deck. Great work Bud!
