Only pics I saw of "melted batteries" have been nothing but cheap generic batteries.

Well I better stay away from those kernels then. I have a bunch of cheap, generic batteries that I got off ebay. I don't want to burn my house down just to get an extra hour of battery life, lol.

I have installed the latest radios using the link on the front page. The comment at the top of that page says, "If you have 4G connection issues, be sure to update Profile after updating by going into Settings\System Updates"

Why cant I find that section in my settings? Anyone know how I can update my sprint profile? Thanks!!

You can only update your Sprint profile on a Sense based ROM. Also, after your 4g connection drops do you have to restart your phone?

My friend bought 2 extended batterys with covers from ebay for $20 and we both have been using them for 6 months and no problems to report.

No, It doesnt lock my phone when the 4g goes in and out. It does however freeze up my data connection while it switches momentarily. I saw that a couple of other people were having this same issue, but I didnt find any resolutions or solutions?

Working with this rom since v3, done battle with the gps, voicemail, roaming and now the finale is 4g(same connect/disconnect issues with all versions).

Any help would be much appreciated!!

I have been running RC7 since the day it was posted and immediatly flashed the latest SZ kernel with it (CFS without SBC)..this rom for me has been the best yet with the best battery life! It must be bc of the SZ kernel bc ppl, including deck, have mentioned terrible battery life..I have seen poor battery life on the older RCs here, but I was using the stock kernel...RC7 has been pretty flawless and the best one yet for me, thanks Deck! the only thing is i still have a voicemail notification even tho deck deleted the apk..however, i no longer get the V30 error which is great!

I personally use SBC because it works for me. I use a seidio 3500mAh extended battery and the SBC helps me avoid dealing with the battery conditioning method of: charging 8hrs, unplug turn off phone, charge for another hour, etc etc etc... I don't have the time to deal with it, especially for a large extended battery.

It costs more than the generic batteries of the same size but they are a trusted brand. Personally I don't think it really matters whether it's generic or not. It was just an observation I made but I really believe they must have been overclocking so high and tweaking where it caused issues. 1.22mhz runs smooth for me without temp issues.

Is there any way to update the prl? I'm on 60662 and I was on 60677 which is the most current I believe.
Other than that great rom been running rc6 for a week now just flashed 7 seems to be working well.

You'll find all the PRLs here, including 60677.

Hey is there any way to send a text message when you reject a call? This is an option on Sense ROMs, but not on this ROM. Does anyone know of an app or something that adds this feature to vanilla Android ROMs?

How do you uninstall flash with Titanium Backup? My flash isn't working either but I can't figure out how to uninstall it.

At the home screen choose "backup/restore" at the top then scroll down to the flash app and choose it then select uninstall and that should get rid of it. I have the paid app so I'm not sure if it works the same way on the non paid app.

Also, if you get the app uninstalled and install it from market, it might say "Installation Unsuccessful". This is what happened to me. Just reboot and do it and it should install just fine.
