Thanks for the info. I will try installing the new kernel today. Other than TIAMAT 4.03, has anyone else tried any kernels that have brought significant improvements to battery life? I can try and test out a few.

You can also try out the free version of Kernel Manager from the market. I've been using Tiamat 4.0.3 for about a week now with Deck 1.2 on Smartass and I've been getting really good battery life on a consistent basis. What would you say your battery is giving you right now? You may also want to check out viperMOD's undervolt scripts [MOD]viperMOD for AOSP Kernels - v3 beta RC2.11 |Updated 5.28.11| - xda-developers

Thanks - I will try this out.
With deck's 1.0 ROM and Juice Defender installed, I have managed to stretch battery life to 20 hrs now (with about 25% left). This is with light to moderate usage - a few emails and text, 30 mins of games, 30 mins of netflix, 30 mins of browsing, searched and installed a few apps from the market, a couple of very short calls.
This is with the stock EVO 1500 mAh battery. I also have the Seidio 1750 mAh battery, but it didn't seem to give me anything extra when I tried it earlier. I'll give it another shot now that I've made all these updates.

Ok - so I flashed Tiamat 4.0.4 and applied viperMOD's undervolt script (-50 option). Everything seems to be running ok at the moment. I will see what it does for battery life tomorrow and update.

Can't use Sense in this at all, as it is HTC's and requires the HTC framework to be functional. Many people say Dialer One is a good, free alternative.

The one I have had the best luck with as far as battery life and everything working is Tiamat 3.3.7 SBC. Good luck! Enjoy

Im not sure if it had anything to do with the latest radio, prl...ect. but according to the XDA link I have the latest installed. I've pulled the battery several times and put it in and out of airplane mode several times. All other phones in my house connect to 3G with no problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated....Thanks

I've been having the same problem on and off for about the last week or so! I'm thinking of going back to 1.0 until all the kinks get worked out!!!

Cool, I've never felt like I had any luck with Juice Defender, I guess I always just felt like it was an extra process going on. I've been manually toggling mobile data when i'm not using it. Maybe i'll give it another shot. Stock battery here as well. What's the general consensus on JD on here, anyone else having any luck with it?
