Re: [ROM] Azrael X v2.1 (12/07/2010) NEW and improved

Is anyone getting clock speeds over 1152 mHz? The slightest notch over and my evo has a conniption! If so what kernel are you using? Also, how accurate is quadrant? I am receiving results in the low 1400s although setcpu is set at 1152 with performance scaling...

Hi Ricsim,
Thanks for your ROMs. I've been using your ROM since Early November and loving it... I'm itching to update to your new stuff, but I have a question. Have you purposefully not used Darktremor's apps2sd for a reason? Is it breaking some functionality?
I just bought a class 6 microsd card for my phone and I'm itching to somehow maximize the use of my card's memory for apps or cache...

I don't see why people are still trying to squeeze more juice out of their EVO's processors by overclocking. It's not a high end custom built gaming pc or video card. The EVO is plenty fast straight out of the frozen dinner carton. I could understand the overclocking if it made drastic improvements in performance over stock, but its not enough to justify the risk in doing it in the first place. This is my personal thoughts on it.

This Rom runs fast on the stock HTC kernel and I don't bother trying to speed up my phone when its already fast enough and has good battery life.

Point taken. There is just a curiosity factor that lies within me.

Bluetooth voice dialer not working on Evo

Ok hopefully I can get a little help from someone, or possibly Ricsim! I am running azrael X 2.1 and I just got a Motorola s10hd bluetooth headset, when I press the voice dial button on the headset the phone just has a pop-up window that has a microphone with a line thru it and it says starting up .....and it just stays there on that screen if I hold in the button on the headset it will radial the last number I called, any suggestions!

This is the fastest and smoothest ROM Ive tried. The battery life is crazy. Im getting 8 hours+ from this ROM. Keep up the good work. Im hooked now.... My wifi router app didnt work but i replace it with a old one. All good now.....

Absence? For the excellent roms you've been giving us you can take a sabbatical, come back like you never left and be accepted with open arms. LoL. With that said, I'm Flashing away!
