No problem Ric. I know how hard you work to give us great roms. I also know you aren't on ppcgeeks as much as xda-developers so if I can give our friends over here a heads up when new roms are posted the easier it is for you to take your time to post it here.

Anyone have any good results with a custom kernel on this rom? Also does setcpu have to remain open in the background to work or can i keep it closed

Is there a way to get the default keyboard from the Azrael 3.0 rom? I like the looks better and i believe the buttons were a bit bigger

Hey guys,

Just an FYI. I have installed and tried 9 kernels over the weekend and this one I found to be the best.

I am currently using Azrael 3.1, Setcpu @ 1152, JD, and the circle battery mod on hardware version 0004 (just got the phone about a month ago).

I tried
-netarch toastmod 4.1.9.1 cfs havs universal signed
-netarchy toastmod 4.3 cfs havs more sbc universal signed
-netarchy toastmod 4.2.1 bfs bfq havs more smartass universal signed
-netarchy toastmod 4.2.1 cfs bfq havs less smartass universal signed
-netarchy toastmod 4.2.1 cfs bfq havs more smartass universal signed
-netarchy toastmod 4.3 cfs havs less sbc universal signed
-kingxkernel evo 11-2.6.32.24 flashable
-netarchy toastmod 4.1.9.1 cfs- havs universal signed

An the winner is :

-netarchy toastmod 4.2.1 cfs bfq havs less smartass universal signed

All the roms averages about 400mA when the screen was on and idling and when running programs.

When I used "netarchy toastmod 4.2.1 cfs bfq havs less smartass universal signed" the rom was chilling. I average about 100-200mA. My phone was not draining battery life.

This is just a FYI but if anyone tries the kernel, please let me know if you experience the same thing.

Got it to work.... I had to reistall it. I forgot I had a old one backup in my MYBACKUPPRO zip... Thanks Best ROM as of today.....

I have yet to get my 4G to work here in Los Angeles since I started using Azrael Roms... anyone else in LA able to use 4G around LA while using this ROM? I'm not sure if it's cause of the ROM or if 4G just sucks out here.

Is there a shortcut to update to 3.1 from 3.0? Do I have to flash 3.1 like a new ROM and restore all my backups again?

It seems that my phone never goes into sleep mode anymore... the "Up time" and "Awake Time" have been the same for the last few days... no matter if I leave it alone or use it all day.

4g issues check to make sure your wimax keys are the correct ones.
Have not had any problems connecting to 4G either in LA or Chicago.

Its always best to do a full wipe before flashing any updated rom,
just because you dont want any thing left over that might interfear
with the new rom.

Phone not sleeping. Did you update all your radio/wimax/prl.....etc.
If you did then downgrade your pri and nv back to 1.7 has been reported
to clear that isssue and help with battery life
