Yes it is for Riptide it looks like a small clock its blue and white. You only see the white and green if you have the alarm set this changes that icon. I hated that icon. So glad its gone.

Quick question... wipe or just update? I'm using the previous RipTide with a different kernel.
And am I correct in assuming that you have all the battery/alarm updates in this newest update?

I would nand backup and try a update if you get a bunch of FCs then wipe. See I never really know because I have to wipe all the time. Updates will work were wipes will fail. An educated guess says a update should be fine.

Didn't get any FCs, but none of my installed/downloaded/market apps installed or will install. No task/file manager, nothing. Doing a reboot before I wipe/flash.

Hmmmmm. Now I'm just getting the repeating HTC boot screen. Don't think it's supposed to do this.
Wiped again, flashed (just ROM, this time- last time I did the battery.alarm update same time) and reboot.
OK. This is completely different... it looks like the RipTide from the OP. All the older icons on the top bar. I was already liking the new ones... At least my apps installed correctly.

Uploading new version now. I've flashed it about 20 times without issues. Full wipes. Wait for the new version has a bunch of graphics fixes..

I didn't have any issues with installing the riptide version.

Trident: I had read elsewhere that if you're using some other kernel (say like a CM) you may have to flash back to stock kernel first before you can venture forward.

LOL. Just after I finished syncing everything. OK. Not that busy of a day.

I've discovered that I just have to reboot and install everything BEFORE I install the new kernel.
Funny thing that happened after installing the kernel this time (it happened before, but not as severely) all non-system widgets became either the VoiceMail widget or showed as unavailable. Not a big deal, just interesting.
If I have any issues beyond that, I'll try the stock kernel first. Heck, it only takes a minute to flash the kernel.

Ok updated the ROM some more and fixed a number of graphic issues. For example fixed the browser colored icons, fixed the calendar icons, etc.
