Looking forward to your update based on the new version! You're roms are the only ones ive used since I got my Evo on launch!

I was even thinking of trying one of the other roms that is already updated to 3.30 but then I decided Fresh has not let me down why should I go off and change now lol

Calkulin's USB tethering mod had the side-effect of disabling haptic feedback on the stock Android lockscreen (if you use it). Now that Fresh includes this mod in 3.4.0.1, the problem is present. I've attached a flashable zip that re-enables haptic feedback on the stock Android lockscreen. Calk's USB tethering mod will still work--you'll just also enjoy haptic feedback!

So far so good but after i installed my riptide theme i stated getting force closes... installed the 3.4.0.1 over the top again and everything works fine?


EDIT: Turns out i installed V7 instead of V8, everything works perfect!

Basically, this adds one line to the init.rc file to allow the battery tweak to boot. It should have the added effect of reflashing to the stock HTC kernel that came standard with Fresh ROM 3.3.0.1. Be aware of this if you swapped to a different kernel!

This update shouldn't force a wipe or anything, but a nandroid backup is always a good idea before flashing something like this!

Anyway, just flash this .zip and follow the instructions in the other thread for setting up the battery tweak. Good luck!

It'll work on the new ROM, but will flash the kernel from 3.3.0.1 over the new kernel from 3.4.0.1. I can update it to use the kernel from 3.4.0.1 if you'd like!

Yes, please update it. I tried it on the new rom and it broke the wifi. I now get an error when I try to enable wifi.

Alright, here it is! There's two files attached.

Collin_Ph_Battery_Tweak_initrc_for_Fresh_3.4.0.1: Flashes an updated init.rc that allows the battery tweak to boot. This will also revert your kernel to the stock HTC one that came with Fresh 3.4.0.1.
Collin_Ph_Battery_Tweak_v3_RC2-EVO_fixed: Flashes an updated version of the battery tweak that is fixed so batt-cfg and batt-diag no longer falsely complain about not having root access.

Let me know if you have any issues.

Reflash the ROM and then you latest battery tweek. Wifi is working. Thanks.
