You need to switch to the HTC_IME mod keyboard... i dont think the stock froyo keyboard has the mic anymore.. Language > Keyboard in settings then long press in a text field to switch

Hey guys,

I've attached a flashable .zip that will update your phone running Fresh Evo 3.3.0.1 to work with the battery tweaks created by Collin_ph ([MOD] Collin_ph Battery Tweak For EVO By Myn - xda-developers).

Basically, this adds one line to the init.rc file to allow the battery tweak to boot. It should have the added effect of reflashing to the stock HTC kernel that came standard with Fresh ROM 3.3.0.1. Be aware of this if you swapped to a different kernel!

This update shouldn't force a wipe or anything, but a nandroid backup is always a good idea before flashing something like this!

Anyway, just flash this .zip and follow the instructions in the other thread for setting up the battery tweak. Good luck!

manually uninstall by physically deleting the apk via root explorer. then reboot, then d/l the updated version via market.

hmm...I finally got decent battery life today after the numerous tweaks...on fresh rom 3.3 with kingkernel cfs 11, autokiller memory set at optimum, and setcpu with screen off profile set to 245 max and 245 min. I'm at 14 hrs 39 min with 40% left. I didn't have any voice calls today, but I text throughout the day and I also play wordfeud throughout the day which usually drains my battery a lot. First time with such great battery life...

Interested to see if this works better or if setcpu with net's kernals work better.

Go to the FreshUpdater and install the Vinilla Lock Enable.
