hey chris i been having an odd glitch, for some reason the wifi tether rc1 is not connecting properly for me, it connects then a few seconds later it disconnects. i reverted back to the Dec 16 ROM which has the pre 15 and it works fine for me...if you are able to can you upload or send me the wifi tether you renamed?

I am using rom form 11/26/10 everything is working swype and so forth

question: best method to update all in one or standalone but i don't want to lose any settings or apps. took me 3 hours to set it up

i have software version 003 when i did a nandroid back up i could not restore it wanted me to restore via commnads and i could never do it.

so back to original question all i want to to is update to latest version 12/21/10 without losing my settings or 87 apps i have installed.

if i am going to lose my setting then i rather not touch it..

how best i can update without messing up

I know we shouldn't remove friendstream and news...anything else?

i delete the widgets i dont use, most of the sprint apps, google talk, newsreader and its widget,htc setup wizard, flikers, rss, stocks.

Does anyone know how to back up your HTC Sense scenes? I just wiped and upgraded ot the new ROM so I could have the working swype and lost all my HTC Sense scenes. I've been recreating one of them for like the last 30 minutes and still not done with it, and I still have like 4 more to create after this one.

I used titanium backup and it worked perfectly. I backed up the apps and system data and then flashed the all in one. When I did the restore using titanium I only selected my settings and the apps I downloaded. It was extremely easy!

i have my back up pro i did back up the apps and system

I flashed the 12/21/10 update, last night to get the search button back, and now today my battery life sucks, after 4hrs its at 25%. Anyone else having issues with the 12/21,flash?

Strange issue.. I am on the rom before the 3.70 update. Its been fine.. HOWEVER, yesterday I flashed one of those NEW KERNELS for improved battery life. Well, NOW, TITANIUM BACKUP PRO will no longer let me FORCE APPS TO SD. I can use APP2SD for any app that is supposed to be allowed on SD but not able to force ANY app to SD like I was before.

Does anyone know of a fix for this? is there any other program that does the FORCE APP to SD besides TITANIUM??

UPDATE: Appears it might me the KERNEL I am using.. Im checking into that.. anyone use SBC-net-4.2.2-more-havs-v2.zip and see this issue?

Just be careful deleting Sprint App Updater. If you remove it, you will lose the ability to update your stock sprint apps (that is, if you're keeping any of them)

I can assure that kind of battery life is most likely not rom related. Decreased battery life could be due to many factors. A failing or faulty battery could be the main reason. I would also check and see how your service area is. A sketchy service area causes the phone to constantly check for a stronger tower and this could degrade battery life.

My battery life last night was 15 and a half hours with 20% still remaining. That was with the rom fully set up, data always on, e-mail checking every hour, weather refreshing every 3 hours, qik signed in, google sync and facebook sync every hour with light to medium usage. I am using the stock 12/21/10 release with the stock kernel.
