once again I don't think this error is not caused by this Rom. I've read issues where people had the same issue with other android phones

giving these steps a run right now...Not sure what is causing this but I have not had this issue in any ROM to date..

edit..gave these steps a go but still getting error (will not log into google talk and market will not work)

Have you tried reformatting? I still see that I am logged into Google Talk and marked as available and am also able to download any app from the market.

I am having same problem. First 2.2 rom on Aug 11, didn't have any issue it was good. After upgrade on Aug. 13th it worked good for about 30mins and Now I am not able to download from market and getting message "google talk authentication failed" I reload the rom two more times and same happen.....

I also had market issues at first. I flashed again and after I signed into my google account I went to google talk and unchecked auto-sign in...I havent had any market issues or "google talk authentication failed" pop ups.

If it matters, I don't use the Gmail app, I use my Gmail account as pop and I dont use google talk.

Okay guys I will release a separate .zip update later today without radios & wimax included and this should hopefully solve any issues you are having. I will still keep the original all-in-one as there have been a few hundred downloads and only 2 or so reports of the google talk issue.

Chris, just wanted to report I also had the google talk authentication issue with the all-in-one. Had another weird issue too, I could not update my profile or prl either. Gave me error 1012.

I had done a factory wipe and reset as well as clearing Dalvik cache with clockwork recovery before flashing. I flashed to the previous separate version 1 and everything worked again. I repeated flashing to the all-in-one, same problems.

Thanks for all your hard work, yours are the only roms I use!

Hi,

I'm having the google talk authentication issue. Reloaded ROM 3 times and finally think I have the problem narrowed to email.

If I setup any email such as Live or Yahoo, the problem appears. As soon as I delete the account, problem goes away and everything works fine.

The problem appears within an hour of setting up the email account.

I was having this issue last night after upgrading to this rom from a another cooked rom. I'm not sure which fixed it but I did a wipe cache, dalvik and factory reset.
