How's the battery life on this Rom. Still using 2.2 sprintlovers with custom Kernal and getting great battery life. I tried OMJ 2.3 and the battery life sucked. Anyone using a kernal with this ROM? Please post your battery results. Thanks!

Possible Bug in the dialer?

I went to dial *2 to get customer service and I get a force close in com.android.phone and then the 3G/phone signal resets. Rebooted, same effect.

I can dial any legitamate number including *4 no problem, but *2 simply won't work.

Stumped!!

*2 works fine on my test phone. Did you wipe cache/dalvik cache prior to installing?

* can I install this as an update on top of the last sprint lovers 2.2 Rom? Will anything not work? Please don't just tell me i should do a clean install but rather I'd liked to hear from someone who did this.

* I'm running a custom bump charge kernel which really improves battery life. Is there one for this Rom or is the battery life good enough that you don't need it?

IMO you should install this ROM cleaning everuthing. i did that and i have the best battery life ever (original kernel) this is working great.

also the *2 work very fine on my phone..

Holy crap! Welcome back Chris! I was a fan of your roms since the TP2 days. I am glad to see you making another rom with Gingerbread for us Evo users!

You have asked the same kind of question for over a year..lol. Why don't you make a Nandroid backup and then try installing it the way you are asking. You can always restore from your backup if something doesn't work out the way you'd hoped.

I did it the last one and it worked but going form 2.2 to 2.3 I am not sure.. I was hoping someone had tried it...
