how about USB Tether, and Autokiller isn't a task manager the name is misleading, it's a utility that basically tells your device how to manage the RAM the way you want it (for rooted devices of course), but I have not seen it on the Evo, it is cooked into some Cyanogen roms I flash on other devices.

yeah its in the market, once installed you will get options to tweak the RAM, they have some presets, I use aggressive on my MT3G because the specs aren't the best for my LWPs and such, on an Evo I'd try performance and see if you see a difference.

because you're rocking half a gig of RAM and a 1 ghz cpu you will really be able to take full advantage of these settings.

I can up the usb tethering APK later if you want to add it but can't find it. It's better IMO cuz u don't run down your battery power while tethering and better than ez tether because you don't have to install any software on the host pc.

i'm not entirely certain why some of the chefs are removing footprints. it actually works properly on these phones.

the problem is that it just happens to be one of the programs that you can't just install. there is a special setup that needs to be done...quite ridiculous actually. and i would bet that more use it than you think. especially since it works. remember...you're on android now, not winmo. people didn't use it on winmo because is didn't work. an added bonus is that this version is linked to the navigation software.
