Good advice but it's not a critical error. Even if you forget to rename or remove it and it gets read, we still have a failsafe where it will ask if we want to update.
If you mistakenly left the file on your card all you would do is select NO at that point. Just fyi-I did need to change my shorts after that one time but it was pointed out to me that there was no need to panic.

change your shorts...ouch... lol when it happened to me I immediately tasered my Evo and brought it back for a replacement. desperate times require desperate measures...lol

disclaimer: just kidding. doing this would be monumentally stupid.

My Titanium back up wont restore anything, it jus reboots my phone as soon as I start to restore. Any idea why?


Edit: nevermind jus had to Download the latest busybox or wuteva its called

Hey I have gone through this Rom trying to find that wallpaper the one that comes up when the rom is booting up its all black with a green htc in the middle it also has rEVOlution right above it. Ive been trying to find it while now.

Any help is much appreciated thanks

Speaking of changing my shorts-the new PRI update sent me to Bootloop City.
Wiping and nand were a no go.
Had to do a fresh install, maybe my nand will go now.
Just FYI, hopefully it was just my device.
I'm now on the new radio and PRI.

I had no problems. I'm on newest OMJ rom and used the flipz link for radio and PRI. Making a nand backup as I type this before I start flashing themes and screwing with kernels.
