Well should have said that the first time, question was a little veg. I have know way of knowing what your level on androidness is.

Well, in OMJs change log he says added NetFlix NOT QueueMan. I haven't had a chance to update to the latest ROM yet, so I had no idea the actual name of the app is QueueMan.

Got it. My bad. :oops:

Glad you like the logo Bro.

@All-

Here's my $.005 on The Wipe. I applied WM flash logic which I'm familiar with and then I searched and confirmed my theory. Google and I are ti-aight!!!
It can never hurt to wipe (unless it's single ply) butt (hee-hee) if you don't wipe and the ROM stinks (this is too easy) there's a good chance you'll need to start over.
For small updates-OMJ 1.2 to 1.3 you are probably safe without wiping. IMO the more drastic the change/update, or if you're going to another chef :protest: the more there is a need for a wipe.
In case I'm clear as mud here are some very minor references I found with a very short search:

And Post #6 in this one says it all :evil4:

Just flashed the new ROM and Radio. ROM manager didn't work out so I went the old way and it worked flawlessly. About to start reinstalling apps. Thanks for your hard work!

Ok... so I have 1.3 running well and now I want to install the new radio. If I use ROM Manager to install the new Radio ROM, will it screw up anything else. Will I have to reinstall 1.3?

Thanks!

OMJ,

Not sure if its possible or not, anyway to make witching from front and back camera easier. Maybe a button near the "flash" or "take pic" button?

just a thought...

lol, I'm not a developer just a chef

For what it's worth, my results are the same as Mule's. I was able to update from OMJ 1.2 to 1.3 without a wipe and all is well. All my currently-installed apps survived, and so did my contacts and calendars. I too know that it was successful due to the new apps being installed after the update.

For me, the "Install ROM from SD Card" command in ROM Manager worked, but it did not reboot the phone for me. I had to power-off the phone via the Power button, then power-on the phone while holding the volume-down button, and then selecting "Recovery." After that, it switched to recovery mode and immediately proceeded to update the ROM from the SD card. All in all, it was a very smooth (and quick) update process: no reinstalling of apps or contacts/calendars. Excellent...

did u flash the clockworkMod recovery 1st? that has to be done, for the full reboot into recovery

BTW - New rom is working great. Wish I could say the same thing about Rom Manager.

I was trying to make a youtube video of every step from downgrading to rooting to flashing a new rom. For some reason I was unable to downgrade directly from your 1.2 version. I had to manually install the original rooted_supersonic, then I was able to do the downgrade process.

I went to;
Supersonic_1.32.651.6 --> Supersonic_1.32.651.1 -->Root
Then Rom Manager would not allow me to install from the SD card.
I ended up having to install your latest rom manually (the old way).
Once I was in your current rom, I was able to use Rom Manager to install the latest radio from the SDcard, but all your apps disappeared. I went back into Rom Manager and was able to reinstall your rom from the SDcard.

All that trial/error took about 5hrs. :scratch:

I'm trying to find a completely fool proof method to add to my tutorial, but I seem to keep hitting road blocks :banghead:](*,)

LMAO....I should have thought about that statement alittle more b4 typing...

well in the world of flashing, there's always going to be hiccups....good work though!

I hate to say it..but being a flash junkie and having Rom Manager (and this great ROM) may lead me to a Phone Flash Rehab Center "hello, my name is VegasDen and I am a flashaholic" :bom:

lol, keep in mind for the future....after flashing a new rom, you have to run the "flash clockworkmod recovery" again

I was on 1.3, used rom manager to install the newer Radio, and all your apps from 1.3 disappeared.
Went back into Rom Manager and installed OMJ 1.3 again. Then all the apps were there + the newer radio.

By the way, as I mentioned before, the only way I was able to get rom manager to work right was from your rom. Stock rom w/ root didn't work for some reason.

I flashed the new radio after flashing 1.2 & had no affect....what happened on stock rom w/ root, when trying to use rom mgr?
