idk man my phone is all messed up. i tried to unroot it didnt work. so i installed 1.5 that kept crashing.i am not sure what it is wrong. its pissing me off. been like this for 2 days now

well it's very possible a hardware issue, were u having the issue from the stock rom also? I would try flashing one of the shipped ROMs from here

it wont let me it says it cant connect to my phone. it gets stuck in a boot loop then outa no ware the os loads up i do something it crashes then back to boot loop

it is so weird it loaded up the os stayed on for like 30min then crashed and entered non stop crashing mode again.
ill just unroot and take it to sprint see what they can do. i have a feeling that its hardware related.

Did you have any Nand Backups? You could try restoring your most recent WORKING one? Hopefully you had done a backup before the upgrade you tried went haywire...

Get into recovery and try restoring a good Nand backup... If that doesn't work, then dude... Your phone is most likely fried...

I think that Sprint gives you a 1 year warranty and all their phones. So you can just call them up and tell them your problem and they will more than likely send you a new one. The issue you might have is that EVO's are supposed to be outta stock nationwide... There is a backlog...

i have a nand backup while i was in the process of rooting the phone. if not i am going to try and root the phone again for shits see what it dose. i guess ill have to go back to my plam treo 650 until new evos start to ship :C

all this started with force closes on 2.2 v2.1 and random crashes

Actually...if you flashed OMJ's ROM from Post 1 that says Netarchy Custom Kernel 3.7.6c your camera will be at 3mp. That was the original kernel without the camera fix. You would have to flash the new kernel.

thanks for the info on the camera Vegasden, as for the font size, when I copy-n-paste it looked large, but too late to resize.
