I would think that i simply have to copy rom1 v1.7 to my sdcard then go to bootloader and flash then flash froyo. When i enter bootloader rom1 loads and after the bar on the right side of screen fills it just says checking for about 10secs then returns to main bootloader screen.... Also i removed a update.zip recovery helper from my sdcard now when i boot into recovery it still asks for it ( but it is not available because i deleted it... )

i may be wrong but, sounds 2 me like u lost half your root !

I have no idea what in the hell your doing.. as far as I know all you have to do is flash OMJs ROM then flash the radios. What it is exactly your doing I have no idea. I think your making this a whole lot harder than it is.

HTC ALBUM WORKS-IN LANDSCAPE! :D

I've been searching and testing and coming up blank then made a discovery this AM-if you hold your phone in Landscape-either in Camera Mode or from the app launcher HTC Album works! [does the Dance of Joy]
The fact that the app launcher doesnt change orientation doesnt matter.

Even weirder-if I stay within the album I can go back to Portrait but once back in Portrait if I try to switch Albums I get the FC's.

This is on OMJ 2.2 v2.1 stock kernel.
Obviously I see the connection with the oreintation but I'm clueless as to a permanent fix. Hopefully this sheds some light

Anyone else wanna test this? While it may differ across ROM's I assume all my OMJ Brothas will see the same thing.
I dont know if this is good enough for OMJ to cook but it's fine for me.
Theme away Boys!!! :headbang:

tested and true great find!

no, dont install the 2.2 update, YOU WILL LOSE ROOT!!! also, you dont need to update to 1.7 first. Just flash my 2.2 ROM followed by the wimax update

on 2nd thought, flash my 1.7 ROM1 first cuz there's some firmware updates you will be missing

What OMJ said a while back...when Froyo first came out.

I went from OMJ version 1.5 to version 2.1 but I never flash v1.7. Does anybody know if this will create a problem for me later on? Thanks.

Anytime I need to dial *2 for sprint I always use my old moto starTac. Especially if you think you will have to reboot your current (active) phone in the process.
