OEMs go into the OEM folder (OMJ HTC Sense Kitchen v1.9\OEM\Diamond\Common). Only EXTs belong in the EXT folder you mentioned

thx, now if i could only find the official oem for htcalbum for the diamond!

I tried to extract is from the rom update but it just put a ton of files in the dump folder and i have no idea what to do with them.

Yeah, dumping files from cdma roms doesn't put them in packages. Your best bet is to dump an official HTC Diamond ROM. You can get one from htc's worldwide site. If it asks for a serial before letting you download, use HT822GN31009 (found it awhile back).

I dumped the oem, and cooked my new rom. Good times. thanks for your help.

It was in vain though, pictures still dont rotate correctly. I guess its sense 2.5 that is breaking that feature. At least i tried. The scroll wheel works perfectly tho.

sorry guys, havent been around lately, been working on a new project.....I was asked to join the ROM team @ WMpowerusers.com, so I've been working on a new ROM for them.

if you used the Sense 1921 build, pictures & music will rotate, or just wait for amarullz to update 2012.

Im assuming sense 1921 is still labeled as 1920 in your 1.9 kitchen? I noticed some packages labeled 1921. did you just kept the 1920 file structure and updated it with the applicable 1921 files?

So what album version should i be using to get the pictures to gsensor rotate? I have 2.2 that i dumped and the 3.0 and 3.2 included in the kitchen.

Oh yeah is it normal for my customizations to take forever? it does turbo blue bar like 1000x. but eventually finishes. Or am i doing something horribly wrong? maybe its the lzx compression...

it started as 1920, then 1921 came out which was actually a mix of 1920 & 1921. u can try loading one of my 1921 templates to see which packages I had selected.

I was using Album 3.2

If you are using UC, then yes the customization is goofy. That is one of the reasons I stopped using UC & started using SASHIMI, plus it's much easier. search this thread there is lots of info on it.

the locker & 12 quicklinks are incompatible w/ 2012....most of those packages in the tweaks section are for 1920/1921 only. if you load my 2012 template, you'll see the ones that will work.....amarullz has stated he will update those mods in the near future.

Hey guys..

I just finished building a new 2012 rom (sys 23529) with everything to my liking. There's only one problem I'm running into. I can't reply to any emails at all. Actually the problem starts at the mail tab. Normally, when you click on an email from the email tab, it would take you to the message. Right now, when I click on the message, it just sits there. If I click on inbox, it opens the inbox but I can't open or reply to any of the emails. I've attached a build log. Thanks for the help...

P.s. if you guys see something in the log that hurts the performance/speed/free memory of the rom, I'd appreciate it if you point it out. I'm fairly new to cooking and still trying to learn the trade

it's done now...it's a 23518 ROM, but it's customized to suit their req (theme, ringtone, bootsplash, homepage). I'll post a link when they have it up on their site.
