Re: OMJ's HTC Sense 2.5 & 2.1 ROMs | WM 6.5 / WM 6.5.x | 21055 / 21887 / 28014 | 2/9/

Hi - I'm going to flash my wife's phone, so I'm a little concerned about stability. She's on stock Sprint now. I'm wanting to get her a little more up to date, but not at the cost of much stability. I'm also wanting to let her have more free memory. Which of these versions is the sweet spot of newer features and stability (not having to soft reset very often, programs acting like they should)?

thanks

Really any of the versions OMJ puts out are pretty darn stable, unless he puts it out as a test or beta in which case he will mention it. If you want her phone to look more like stock Sense 2.5 | 6.5 | 21887 | v1.4 might be a good option since it doesn't relocate the start menu. Just make sure you back up her stuff or she won't be too happy! Most people use Microsoft MyPhone now since it is all done over the air, or you can use PIM Backup or regular ol' Activesync with your PC. Good luck!

I noticed the links in the first post are broken, I didnt read through this entire thread. I was wondering if these versions are available elsewhere?

Awesome! Now with more zoom!!! (though 200% seems to be adequate anyway). FYI - tested and works perfectly fine here (installed to internal storage).

2012 build looks good. Very smooth. Didn't run into any problems. Thanks, OMJ.

Is the 2012 port pretty much perfected by now (for portrait at least, don't care about landscape)?

2012 is nice but still not perfect. Album is improved, but still has some flaws. HTC messaging won't let you search your contacts.

That's all I've noticed so far, but I haven't yet used it much.

Oh yeah in case anyone was still wondering, no more laggy text input with Opera 10 beta 3!
