Re: OMJ's | HTC Sense / Manila 2.5 | WM 6.5 / WM 6.5.x | 21870 / 23504 / 28002 | 12/0

Just loaded 28005 v1.1 and when I attempt to add a simple password lock the keyboard attempts to switch to numeric and locks up before the numeric keyboard is displayed. I have to hard reset to get phone to be responsive again. This has happened three times. Bad flash maybe?

Does anyone know how to bring up the x2 task manager on the new 28005 build? I can't figure it out for the life of me. I saw that if you held down the windows icon it would bring up the windows task manager that I previous had set to the talk button.

After messing with for a while it seems like the rom is a little laggy. 28002 v1.2 is much faster. I can't figure out how to get the X2 task manager to work and it is almost impossible to get the notifications menu to come up. Not sure what is causing it. I flashed back to stock before the new build. I might go back to v1.2 which was perfect.

Probably the Start Menu button is how you activate it (hold it down).

Bubble Break still isn't fixed for me. It loads up now but the bubbles don't show up. Just a whole lot of small glitchy bubbles. Thanks for the new rom. Other than that this rom does it AGAIN.

I was able to get fingerkeyboard to input the digits for the numeric lock, however, this and 28002 v1.2 are exhibiting the same lock issue where a reboot after setting the lock will cause the phone to requre a hard reset. I have flashed to shipped and then to these ROMs (28005 v1.1 and 28002 v1.2) numerous times with same issue - 28002 v1.1 works fine. Does anyone know what is going on and how I can fix it? I have been keeping up with this thread and don't remember anyone else mentioning this issue. My servers active-sync policy requires, at minimum, a simple password .

I was having this exact same issue with 28005 v1.1 while trying to type in my password for my exchange server. After numerous reboots I decided to try and set up my hotmail account to see if I could enter that password. The hotmail password entered without a glitch so then I decided to try my exchange again and like magic it entered without issue.

If that isn't an option to try will you be able to set up your account from your desktop computer with outlook/activesync installed?

Ok, I finally figured out how to bring up the X2 task manager. First off it will only open if you have a program open in the background and you have to be on one of the manila tabs. You can't open it if you're within another program. Ok, so if you have a program open and you are on the home screen click on the upmost right hand corner of the screen, almost off of the screen. If you click the clock it will not open. It is kind of tricky to get it to open, you have to touch just the right spot. Once you figure it out it works quite well.

Also, after a hard reset 28005 is running snappier than it was before. I'm going to keep messing with it for a while. I think the best bet would be 28002 with the X2 Task manager and Opera Beta 2!

I have had the same problem. I was made aware of this hack. Although i don't agree with what it does it gets me by for now until someone finds the real fix and nulls the issue.
