On apps like Opera Mobile (especially a beta version), it's better to add them post flash, rather than cook them in. That allows for updating to newer versions without having to reflash the rom.

does anybody know how to get contacts that are added after a call - to show up as first name then last name in contacts and under call history?

When saving a contact, I save first name in the first name box, then last name in the last name box then save to contacts.

When that person calls me, their last name comes up first, then the first name.

In the address book, it looks like this:

last name, first name.

Windows contacts had a "file as" option where you could change the orientation of the names. But I can't seem to find any fix for this currently on 23504 v 1.2.

Any help?

try going into contacts via the start menu rather than Manila, that way you cant get the full edit menu where the "save as" is located

I'm running 23504 and the only option in the start menu is the people tab that brings me to the manila list of contacts.

Correct. As long as you can select it, it will be written into the ROM. The only thing to watch is if you are trying to overwrite a file (ie cooking in a custom clock for manila). You would want to have it get processed (ie displayed below the original files) last. The easy way to do this is to put those files in a folder called zzTweaks or something like that so it's at the bottom of the list. You can also number each folder if you prefer to sort them.

Any work on Windows Live? I tried reflashing like 5 times, 3 time with 1.3 and 2 times with 1.4. No luck. I also tried the latest version of Windows Live from The Marketplace and still no luck...

Unfortunately most of the bugs that were in 1.2 are present in 1.4, I'm using the 6.5 sys, and so far I see:

-Clock tumbler to add appointment still gets all distorted
-Weather and Facebook don't auto update
-"show home on map" in contact doesn't work
-Location in settings doesn't do anything
-Icon missing for long press end key in settings
-mms through the htc interface not working

Those last two were going on for me in OMJ 1.2, 6.5.1. Anyone experiencing those things in 1.4, 6.5.1?
