Re: OMJ's HTC Sense 2.5 & 2.1 ROMs | WM 6.5 / WM 6.5.x | 21055 / 21887 / 28014 | 1/29

I've never commented in a forum...I usually just read through it and my questions are answered but I have a problem with my phone. Im running sense 2.5 v 1.6 and I have Manilla Locker enabled it works fine but after a soft reset I try to lock my phone and the Manilla Locker comes up but its under the WM toolbar at the bottom so I can never unlock the phone w/o another soft reset. And after I do that I have to disable Manilla Locker. can anyone help me with this.

P.S. this has happened a lot ever since I started running Manilla Locker. Attached is a screen of what it looks like.

Yeah, over the last few days I experienced that as well as a bunch of other glitches with the video and touchflo related to the locker, so I just turned it off, been fine since.

Hi Everyone,

I'm using 6.5.3 21887 rom. Can anyone tell me how to adjust the main memory between storage and program? The old OS can do it, but now with 6.5.3, I don't know where to do that. I constantly get low storage memory warning.

Thanks

Bill

Never seen that, whats happens when you disable the locker, reset, enable locker again, is it still the same?

It has not possible reallocate program memory since WM2003 and earlier versions. With Windows Mobile 5 and later builds, main program memory is not persistent memory any longer, it's like the RAM on your PC. So a soft-reset or a dead battery will erase everything in main program memory. In turn, there's no way that I'm aware of to reallocate it.

On that note, if you click on my nick name at the top of this post, you should be able to find my previous posts about trying to save the Diamond's limited main program storage when using WM6.5.3 and Sense 2.5. In short, using ClearTemp and other software, plus moving programs, folders, and files, as well as other helpful tips are all in those posts.

Best to all,
R

I noticed on the HTC site that they have a TELUS Touch Diamond SMS Date Hotfix. Visit the HTC canada web site, click support, pick the Diamond for Telus, then click the Downloads tab.

Would this hotfix only work for the stock ROM, or do you think it will work in yours? Or do you think that its just changing the registry setting that others have posted as a workaround for this bug.
