I know the stock MS dialer works best, but I hate the caller id pop up when the screen is not locked.
hi Gadget, I dont think it has been fixed since everyone seemed to move to the tachi dialer. it wasnt a deal breaker though. I agree the stock 6.5 dialer is butt ugly.

Is there any way to get that FingerKeyboard thing to have a T9 mode by chance? That's the only thing keeping me from using this ROM, that's it.

You can't add t9 to the fingerkeyboard but you can install a 2nd sip of your choice that has this, and sipchange to make it your primary keyboard.

By the way, rom is running great. Used the cab your provided to enable the htc task manager. So far so good. I do agree about Opera. the older versions particulary 15613 are much better and quicker rendering pages. It seems like the newer ones have added some ui enhancements but are slower. Also, they are made for phones without a scroll wheel so you lose some more capabilities. Also, 9.7 builds dont allow you to save to internal storage. If you try to it creates an internal storage folder in device memory which is no good. hopefully they will improve.

Your sip is your keyboard ... just add one that you like for your secondary keyboard. The changer just allows it to be your default, which will survive a soft reset.

Re: 10-16 | ROM | WM 6.5 | Rhodium 2.1 || GadgetROM v1.5 || 21867 || CDMA

noticed one oddity with this ROM: I usually input my contacts' phone numbers in international format (so +1(areacode)(number) for US/Canada numbers) so that if I ever have to call them internationally, it'll work. I've never had a problem with this before. However, with this ROM, when I call a contact whose number is entered in this fashion, my carrier thinks I'm actually dialling international and blocks the call. Any idea why that would be different on this ROM from others? Is there a registry setting or something that changes this? Is it related to having to change regional setting to fix the calendar? thanks, anyone who knows...

Re: 10-16 | ROM | WM 6.5 | Rhodium 2.1 || GadgetROM v1.5 || 21867 || CDMA

hi gadget/everyone,

first off, great ROM! i just bought a new touch diamond and this is by far the best rom i've come across for my usage (short of cooking one up myself, an idea i'm still toying with...)

i just had a quick question though, i'd like the power button to lock the screen rather than sleep(?) the unit, is there a way of doing this? i did a few searches and all i could come up with was using a shortcut to point to a locker app, but if i'm correct (and i may not be) this ROM uses the default windows lock. any ideas?

edit: i just tried the AutoLock setting in DiamondTweak, didn't do the trick.

Gadget, are you gonna release the no-secondtoday updates soon or you plan to do it for next release? I've been holding off in case you have an update in a couple of days. Thanks.
