Great news Gadget. Thanks again. regarding the showcase task manager, it's got freezing issues for sure but if you use the task manager in settings to close out apps once it freezes, you're back in business. I do agree however that showcase needs to be finer tuned.

Showcase can also be removed completely as it just installs as part of the customizations. You then default to latest version of the HTC task manager which is still included...

Thanks riley! oooh at ces, how did you disable it, you mean uninstalling it? I did uninstall it and all that happen was having the regular htc task manager randomly leaving for good and never came back even after soft reset.

Yep that's what I meant sorry. Slipped my mind what exactly I did heh. I dunno why the HTC task manager didn't come back for you, as it still works fine for me.

That's weird. Uninstalling the program should get rid of all of the registry entries that over ride the HTC Task manager. Check your registry and make sure that everything under HKCU\Software\e-natives Technology has been removed. To restore your HTC Task Manager setting just install the cab I've attached to this post.
