I remember TruxT being my fav ROM for a while. Welcome back. I'm tempted, using Cesium Rom and it's also been great. I'll maybe hold off a bit see what others are saying.

ok. first of all, this is the first time that I have tried GTX theme and I have mixed feeling about it but it is not your ROM

this is what I found about TruXt v7.
First I flashed back to shipped rom but during flashing TruXt v7, it did that 'hanging up' on the initial set up screen with moving bar at the bottom, so I had to press the reset button. not a big issue here.
after that I set up my outlook which syncs with gmail and w-live.
whenever i tried to see the whole calendar the sense is reinitializing. after the re-flash, it still doing the same thing. but who knows, it could be just me.

for those who want to try.
after the flash, it gives about 47mb space so not so bad. again it could be just me again but because GTX use white background, i think it drains battery little more than the ones with Black back ground.

it is another great rom. keep up the good work!!

It hangs up for a little but you have to wait a little, it will eventually start moving.. the customization process took almost 5-10 mins on my phone. Just let it sit and it should do its thing. But thanks for the feedback. I do plan on taking googlemaps/opera out so you guys can have the option of installing it onto storage after flash.

I see!! maybe I should have had more patience. regarding google map and opera, I think it is a great idea. I also like the blue highlight, I will definitely try it again when new version comes up w/out google map and opera cooked in because I need some space for s2us and language font that I want to install. again, thank you very much for the fast response as usual and i will be waiting for the new version to try.

I was a huge fan of TruXt 5, and was curious about the GTX stuff, so I flashed v7 last night. It took a while (7-8 minutes) for the customizations to run, but they finally finished. I used htcRIE to edit the nbh ... took out google maps, opera, some ring tones, alerts, alarms, and all the camera template gif's. After flash had 80+ MB of storage memory available. After all that, decided that I'm just not fond of the GTX look. Leylomo ... glad to have you back in the Diamond crowd ... have always appreciated your work.

Just installed v7, I would really love to keep using it, but I've found a bad bug:

When entering Activesync via the start menu to set up Google Sync, it is completely frozen. None of the softkeys work, the taskbar is dead, and the screen doesn't respond to touch. However, pressing the home key sends you back to TF3D. I tried hard resetting the device and making setting this up the very first thing to do, but it didn't work.

Any idea how to fix this? Or another way to set up google sync? (Not IMAP or POP)

edit: Also, you have the wrong version of CHT Editor installed. I downloaded and installed v1.6.1 and it worked fine, I don't know what the original version on there was.

yeah noticed CHT editor was wrong too. there is also a newer version out 1.7 i think with lots of new features. dont know if it would be compatible. Love the gtx theme much easier to see stuff in bright light conditions like outdoors.
also noticed that when i go into the manila calendar tab it restarts manila.

The phone takes a hell of a long time to come back alive when you wake it up using the power button. It sits on the matrix looking screen.
