Re: |V|ROM|6.5.5|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Phoenix 2' (23541/21892) ** |Feb 26| Sense 2.1 /

Has anyone else had a problem using any SIPs besides the included keyboard and Touch Input? I've tried installing Swype and SlideIT on the 04/13 23557 ROM, and whenever I select one of them, the phone just gives me the default Windows full keyboard instead.

I use 23544 and mwalt's packed Swype install worked. I used htcRIE to remove the one that came with the ROM.

I'm encountering two more issues with the 21898.Sense2.5.Co0kie 4/13/10 ROM.

1. Twitter tab does't work (clicking the "Tap here to login" doesn't do anything).

2. Marketplace - Can't install anything. Keeps saying ".... could not be installed".

I thought Twitter worked when I first flashed and Marketplace worked on a previous ROM. Anyone else having problem?

Check out this link, the nueSIPDefault cab attached should solve your 6.5.x keyboard default issue.

If the solution above this post doesn't work... I recently found out that you can hold down the keyboard button to get a list of keyboards to choose from (just like clicking the little up arrow next to the keyboard button used to do). But you'll still have to deal with the default being changed after a reset.

I get a white screen everytime the phone boots - it seems to replace the EnergyROM/Windows boot screen. I've never seen an EnergyROM boot like this before. Also, the HTC volume screen will pop up before Sense UI shows up, which is odd.

WTF?
happens to me too and the wheel/enter button when pushed up or down controls the volume wierd??

Does anyone else have this weird large menu with the 21898 Sense2.5 ROM? It wasn't like this...I can't figure out how to revert it back to the regular menu!

---------
UPDATE: OK, I figured it out by uninstalling things one-by-one. The culprit was a mod to make the top and bottom curtain transparent. Apparently, it was for WVGA and that screwed it up. I installed the correct VGA version and the menus have been reverted.

I was wondering if there is a way to remove or disable the slide2shutdown program that is built in to the rom.

Thanks in advance
