If that key exists, change it to 1 for CDMA. It is amarullz's mod for his sense 2.5 vga port which nrg is using. If nrg is not using it for messaging, adding the key won't do you any good.

If that's not what nrg is using for messaging, search this thread for cdma fixes.

Hi OP

Thanks a million for the great ROM.

I installed the LITE version of the CDMA ROM. Anyone know where I can get the STANDARD version? What are the differences betwen the LITE and STANDARD?

The LITE version have a lot of software removed eg Opera, MSN messenger etc...How do I add those software back? Do i just install the cab? will it get link directly automatically to the shortcuts on the Internet menu on the ROM?

I used VJBrisk to load Opera Mini instead of Mobile and that works fine.

However, in the internet tab, when I type a word into the "search web" bar, it just brings up Opera Mini but doesn't search for the word I typed there. How do I pass the search term(s) along to Opera Mini like the way it was before with Mobile?

Is there an easy fix to this? I'm running Energy.VICTOR.21895.Sense2.1_LITE.Mar.19.

i installed the Energy.VICTOR.23547.Sense2.5_LITE_with_Cookie_Home Tab.Mar.19e
on to htc touch diamond.. i now get out of memory storage error message nothing microsoft loads up, freezes, the microsoft activsync does not work now. Nothing installs on the phone. my phone is now screwed. was working 100% with im not sure a rom from energy from like 6months ago.. i cannot go back since i cannot connect to phone tried restall on activsync.. different usb cable port etc. anyone else run into similar problem or have a solution i just want to get the ROM off my phone i have put many ROMS on various phones this one rom is the worse i have every come across..

OK ignore what i just said thanks to WMDUNN i may have fixed it well able to reinstall a NEW ROM!. ANYONE ELSE having this problem look up WMDUNN POST on it..

Hey everyone, I've been away for a few months (I used to be iliketosneeze) and haven't downloaded a new ROM (or followed any updates to anything...) since christmas. Anyway, I was hoping someone could fill me in on everything that's happened with manila, wm, the stability/speed of m2.5, etc. and particularly EnergyROM. I'm drowning in new info and I don't even know where to start 8/. A pm would be fine, if you don't want to clog up the forum. Thanks a million.

That's a tall order to fill but here's my input:

1. Sense2.5 works great as far as stability but you should not flash any of NRG's 2.5 ROMs without using HTCRie to remove some stuff. Our Diamond just doesn't have the space given all that NRG has packed into them (not really his fault since he cooks for devices that have tons more space than the Diamond). Search this thread for postings on what to remove. The process only take a few minutes once you know how to do it. There are several known problems with NRG's Sense2.5 ROMs:

a. Ringtones that are .wma or .mp3 don't work. Only .wav work. This is an easy fix. Just convert to .wav - I posted about this awhile back.

b. WiFi doesn't work. I can't get it to work no matter what I've tried.
c. YouTube doesn't work (I didn't put enough effort to see if there's a fix)
d. Some people report SMS problems when replying via the Manila screen. I saw this myself but when I reflashed, it didn't happen again.

2. If you don't want to do #1, download the 2.1 ROMs. They're pretty good and everything works well afaik. But I'm used to the 2.5 so I deal with the problems.

3. There's also the difference between 218xx and 235xx. I prefer the 218xx which has the normal Start icon at the top. 235xx is a little more touch-friendly and gets rid of the Start icon. It probably works better on WVGA.

NRG has uploaded some new Sense2.5 ROMs with the new Co0kie's Home Tab 1.7 (which looks amazing!)

I'll be flashing the 21898 soon and will report back...

First Impression:

1. NRG has greatly reduced the size of the 4/13/2010 ROMs so you can flash without editing! I actually had about 40mb free after the 21898 flash - that's more than I had editing of previous ROMs. He achieved this by removing ringtones (.wma doesn't work anyway), MP3Trimmer, etc. Plus, I think he CFC-compressed them.

2. WiFi - Works

3. YouTube - Doesn't work

4. Ringtones - .wma, .mp3 doesn't work. Only .wav

5. C0okie 1.7.0.0 - Absolutely amazing! It kinda satisfies my WVGA-envy a bit by allowing a row of Quicklinks on the main screen. Even if you don't use this ROM, you should download the C0okie cab and install it.

Overall, the best ROM from NRG yet!
