Re: |V|ROM|6.5.3|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Phoenix 2' (28014/21885) ** |Dec 17| TF3D 2.1 /

I've had this issue for a while, but it hasn't bothered me till the weather is in the middle of the clock.

I run the 'standard' ROM, currently using the 21889 one.

When my events come up in the calendar preview, under the call history, if the event is tomorrow then the tag is weird.
The tag will show up as: IDS_TOMORROW: (time)

Also, my weather that shows up with the clock is weird.
On the left side, under the city name, there is a tag that says "IDS_HOME_WEATHER"

On the right side, behind the temp it shows "IDS_HOME" twice

Does anyone know what's up with this and how to fix it?

EDIT:
Okay, so I found the .cab that was messing things up. I was using a 'weekday.cab' so I could display the day of the week with the date on the home screen. (mon, tue, wed, etc)
Does anyone know how I can do this without the cab? When I try to use advanced config to do it(via the touchflo 3d settings), it says "an error occured while loading TouchFLO 3d config".

EDIT2:
Okay so the TF3D config still worked for changing the date thing, regardless of the error.
For anyone who wants the date to be "Wed Jan 27, 2010" the date code is "ddd MMM d, yyyy"

NEW QUESTION
Is there a way to get the old battery guage, with 1% increments back?

Whats the main difference from 28014 to the new ones, and do either of them have the dusk theme?

1-28 version- SYS 23518 is quite snappy and responsive, not much of difference in terms of appearance though.
Neither one is Dusk themed

Very nice ROM, battery life is very good on this (much better than 28011 from Dec24),
I think compares quite well in terms of battery life with OMJ's 28014

u can just download dusk theme from his thread on xda.
if u know how to play with the .nbh file using htcRie u can just replace the files with the dusk theme ones and u should have a dusk themed rom... very simple if u know how to extract the cab and also use htcRie.
or u can always just install the cab... takes more space that way, but if u have enough u should be fine...

i do have a question though to who ever can answer...
i understand that nrg uses htcmessaging client in his rom... can someone please tell me if he got it to load the sms's fast or is it still slow like in the past?
thanks.

Yes, I have used the htcRie before especially when 2.5 was initially ported over. Space is still a proble since NRG is not using the compressed 2.5 port.

As for the sms, it is much faster than from the sep/oct ROMs

thanks, really great ROM, just the 23518 would cause my diamond to hang after a few hours, revert back to 21889 to test out.
