or u can always just install the cab... takes more space that way, but if u have enough u should be fine...

i do have a question though to who ever can answer...
i understand that nrg uses htcmessaging client in his rom... can someone please tell me if he got it to load the sms's fast or is it still slow like in the past?
thanks.

No I'm pretty new to rom flashing actually, I tried installing the cab but the theme didn't work, it just messed up all the graphics on the new build so I flashed back to 28014 and even when I did have the newer version the left over space after installing the cab was under 1 meg.... not good.

I don't suppose someone that knows how to do that can take the 23518 build (with manilla 2.5) and impose the dusk theme for me? Or mayhaps I'm indulging in wishful thinking and should wait and see if he releases one with dusk?

Re: |V|ROM|6.5.3|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Phoenix 2' (28014/21885) ** |Dec 17| TF3D 2.1 /

I would like to thank the creator of this ROM bc it has made my Diamond an enjoyable phone to use again.
I have also used MightyRom but like this one alot better bc I think EnergyRom is more intuitive and aesthetically pleasing imo. The only minor issues that I have is that it lacks a Compact QWERTY KB and an All Programs tab/icon in the home tabs (instead of going to "Start" and go through different folders to look for different programs but there are 6 customizable "Shortcuts" on the home screen which alleviated most of this problem for me.)

I also dont know why QuickGPS isnt working. And yes I turned it on in "Locations." LOL... It would be great if anyone can give me pointers on how to fix my GPS.

I was going to upgrade to a TP2 but dont find it necessary anymore. I like the compact size of the Diamond and isnt a heavy KB user anyways.

Great Rom!

dusk theme is made for wvga.... so some files u would need to convert to vga, its only graphics files though... not system files.
yeah... installing it as a cab would take all the space...
it's too long of an explanation for me to explain how to get it to work without installing a cab.
ill try helping u out and make u a dusk version out of his rom... i think nrg hates it when people modify his rom and post it though... so we'll see.

Understandable. I would appreciate it though. The 23518 build with manilla correct? yes, that would be most awesome. If you aren't comfortable placing a link here you could pm me it. After experiencing Dusk, I found it to be the best, and I'm not found of the energyrom themes, too neon for the look and feel of my device. I would appreciate that very much though if you could. Thanks.

actually dusk doesn't use cfc'd manila files in his theme.... which means that it could potentially run faster then it is right now.
i guess he does it so that his theme will work on any kind of manila version.
of course u would need the to cfc it and add the patched dll for it to work... im not sure if nrg uses cfc manila files or not... last time i checked which was about a couple of months ago i believe manila wasn't cfc'd.
in theory when manila is cfc'd it should run faster cuz the image files are of lower size.... which leads to faster loading of the file by the sys.
try to pull off some research yourself... my suggestion for u is to download cfc_gui from xda... and extract the dusk theme manila files out of the cab.
at xda on cfc_gui page u can find good instruction on how u can just replace the existing manila files on the device with the ones from dusk and by doing that lose no space at all.
look it up... if u really want to pull it off, theres a way for u to do it yourself.

Would it be possible to have build 28014 available again with manila 2.1. With 23518 I can't send MMS and insert picture to a message.

Thanks

save to contacts from sms

Hello,

I've been searching high & low but have not been able to locate a fix for the save to contacts from sms when using the Titanium only build. A blank white screen pops up with an x when I choose save to contacts from SMS any tips?

I really am enjoying the Dec17th energy rom. Thank you nrgz.

Hey NRGZ28, I was hoping that maybe you could re-up your previous Dusk Roms into your archive, I'm sure many of us would really appreciate it!

If anyone else has them, I would appreciate if you could upload them. I'm looking specifically for the Sense 2.5 21xxx Roms

I think what happens when you delete them from the device is just that, they get removed from the device but remain on the Sprint server. I had a similar problem and fixed it by going to https://pictures.sprintpcs.com/login.do?cp=login and deleting them from there. Hope it helps.
