I appreciate it, it worked. Is this common that the rom will fart like that? I lost my contacts too, not a big deal since I just got my phone. Will wmcd back up everything?

well, it happens ... and like many others will tell you, flashing is not for everyone and they will also tell you to back up the file by using pim backup or windows myphone, i believe... i am not sure of the name because i do not use it.

i usually use activesync, since i don't have any important txts or other stuff to save... and lately, any roms that using manila2.1 is having issues with pim backup files...

there is a sticky thread http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=78551, which will answer lots of information.

oh.. and once you have installed htc cd on your computer, you do not have to install everything all over again. also, well, i learned it hard way, when you are restoring contacts and calendar via activesync, be careful not to do sync your contact data from the beginning since it will delete the stored contact info on your computer...

*EDIT* oh the most important thing... before you flash to any custom rom, make habit to flashing back to the stock rom, whoever carrier you have... it will save you lots of time as well... like i said, it is time consuming but it saves time at the end... ciao

I flashed back to the stock rom, I'm trying out intxROM2.5. I'm looking for a stable rom that I can modify with little tweaks.

my battery is fine, are you leaving programs open all the time? this can decrease your batery life.

Lol thanks setix. Guess u answered everything. Was just wondering about titanium cause there were some files for them on in the start menu, as well as the toggle thing. Maybe u can get more memory by removing those estra things that wont get used like titianium weather and stuff. Youtube and the opera thing were weird maybe i had a bad flash. I had already erased everything before flashing your rom. Went to shipped then reformatted internal and cleared memory. Guess ill try it again.

Just wanted to say THANKS! This ROM is awesome. It is fast and beautiful... I especially love the keyboard! The panoramic view works great. This rom is SPEEDY and loaded. I LOVE IT.

Regarding the USA cities thing for Weather and Clock (If both are set to the same default city, then weather entries will show up in your calendar's day-view), I found a link to a cab somewhere on NRGZ first page titled something like "Manila 2.1 USA Cities.cab". This gives me my small hometown in Nebraska, so should work for most USA cities if anyone needs that.

That cab is nice because it requires no manual editing of reg entries or the like. Just installs, then restarts Manila, then you can select your state then city.
