so i flashed this rom before reading the troubles ppl have had with activesync, now i cant use activesync so i cant flash another rom to my phone. can someone help me out? this rom is laggy and hangs up alot on my phone.

Pull the battery out, then put it back in, hold down on your volume button then push the power button. This will put you in bootloader mode. Then hook up to your computer and flash.

I have not had any issues syncing though with this ROM.

Hi, just flashed to this and have a question. I'm syncing thru an exchange server without a security certificate, I can sync with other ROMs i just get an error. I'm getting an error here but no sync at all.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this?

Other then those two things so far this is a sweet piece of work thank you for this.

Also there is a link for Video Poker in the start menu but it doesnt open, i get "File is either not signed or not found" error. Any clues? I've flashed back to stock and back to this twice with the same results w/ out installing anything.

Hi, I posted this a few days ago. You probably should get your root certificate installed and this is how to do it: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...postcount=1036

I bet with this installed you will not have any issues. good luck.

no offense but what is it with people mapping the windows start menu key on upper left side to the short cut menu? I cant stand it... drives me nuts.... i love the windows menus....

hehe your all over the place rileyd5. I dont have a certificate that I can aquire is my problem. With that ROM I was still able to sync, even though I got the certificate error. Its the exchange server for my work. Their not trying to pay for Verisign certificate...

So oh well, back to energyROM if I cant get it to work.
Thank you for your post though if I get a certificate installed at work I will use the info to properly set-up my exchange syncing

K, rileyd5 you are the freaking man, I got it to work. I went to OWA, hit "view certificates", then installed my companies certificate by placing it in the "Trusted Root Certification Autorities" Store. Then I could do the steps you described to download the certificate.
