I cook opera in because I don't like IE... of course it might not be that bad anymore. I'll have to try it out and let you know in the morning (dead battery lol) ... Unless someone else happens to know.

The new IE is actually pretty good.
But the new Opera 9.7 is still better.

ok Im now running 23004 and the icon bug is still there. I did find the problem. The HTC black blue and gray tsk today selections are causing the bar to not be transparant for the icon below. It will also happen in file explorer. Switch to HTC black and the go to file explorer. Click a folder and scroll down through the files and you will see the problem.
This new rom picked back up quickgps. Very helpful with TomTom ...

Thankfully I had my WiBrain with me for that quick ROM flash on the go.

Checking out file explorer with htc black now. QuickGPS has been in there for a while but disabled by default. I built 2 TP roms yesterday for a few ppl in the office and was testing everything out to make sure they would be good. During that I noticed quickGPS was disabled so I changed the default registry settings in my OEM. Its nice when things like that get noticed.

Edit: Sure enough - thats what I would call a messed up icon.

thanks man. I usually don't use it either but wonder if it's not working properly, will it affect other things like titanium weather updates. not sure where t weather draws its data from but if it's Ie sometimes it will not update, just sits on the connecting screen. just a theory though

There are a lot of cool things that are disabled in the reg. I have had dual NAMs on all my phones, but it is disabled by default. I run a local evdo prl nam when in town, and switch to a roaming nam prl when im gone.

Ahh... It does work correctly, it might open a little slow tho since I had to recmod parts of it for the msn widgets, MS myphone, and youtube to work.

IE is bad for me. I writes a reg string that makes it where Cricket will not send MMS messeges.

Weather data use to come from Accuweather.

Weather data still does... What reg string does IE write? I'll see if there's anything I can do to stop it.

I dont know if anyone else is getting this, but on my last 2 flashes (23001 and 23003), my phone randomly creates an "internal storage2" and moves everything to it. Seen anything like it?
