edit 2: I triggered battery to show by only going to start menu and backing out and pressing on the upper right task bar and pressing on it again to make the task bar hide and battery icon stays ( by task bar i mean the small drop down menu lol ) then i press start again and back out of it and time comes out again :\

Unfortunately the time showing up in place of the battery icon is a common occurrence with the later builds of 6.5. It comes and goes depending on what you select. It is prevalent in most builds past 23017. so the 218xx series, 219xx series, 233xx and 234xx seem to have this.

thx for the update Mike. I luv the mightrom theme! so far so good, I like the wifi router, never used it b4, using it right now.

just a couple things....

-is there an easy way to get 4 columns back in the start menu?

-i change the signalstrengthlevel to 7 for the sprint skinny bars, but the thicker bars remain, any ideas?


also, I had this bug in the last rom, and it seems to be in this one too. sometimes when I wake the phone up the title bar say "messaging" and has the messaging menu, but I'm looking at the today screen. I have to X out of it to get the today menu.

Hey OMJ,

Regarding the start menu, here is a great thread that gives you the option to change the start menu from 3 to 4 ,5 and 6 columns. Cabs are available as well! good luck.

This is the first rom i've used and it's awesome. However, I'm having a small strange problem that I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge about. When trying to access the google mobile site from the phone (m.google.com/voice), whether using opera or internet explorer it redirects to a page telling me my device is not supported. It worked fine when the rom was stock. The regular google voice site works fine but the mobile one is just easier to use. I'm assuming it's because google doesn't yet recognize the new version of windows mobile, or something like that. Is there any way to have my phone identify itself as the old version, or some other type of fix?

I also got the "not supported" page. I have no idea about a fix, but figured I would confirm so you were not alone, lol..
