You can extract the .exe with 7zip or winrar, etc. It's just a self-extracting archive basically. Then you could flash from internal storage. Another option would be to put your phone into boot loader (turn off, press and hold vol. down, press and hold power until tri-color screen) then connect to your computer with your usb cord. The RUU should recognize it.

I use the obnoxiously loud 'Alarm-Snooze' sound which doesn't go off at all. Is there a way to fix this or know what causes it?

I have the exact same problem here. Did a search in this thread and was surprised only one post brought it up. Nobody else has this problem or is there a simple workaround?

Otherwise, this rom rocks! Thx Mighty for the great work!

Just checked the G-Alarm website... It says it 4.99 Euro and a 10-day trial. Was 1.51 the last free version?
If so, where can we get it?

Here you go ;)

It was free in the earlier versions, now that its so popular, AGEYE made the 2.x version pay. Which is good and bad. Ageye mades a great program.

Of course the 1.5.1 is very very stable. So you'll see G-alarm in many ROM's here

Can someone tell me how to change the page size? This rom hasn't been very fluid at all for finger scrolling or page transitions.

Otherwise it's great.

Hey Mighty I just read in another thread that you are doing a ROM with Groove. Is that true??

Who, what, why, when, where, and how can I get a hold of something like that?!

You can only change the PP pre-flash. When building a ROM, it's the last thing you do.
You might be able to run the PPChanger app within the RUU prior to flashing an already made ROM, but I'm not sure- and I'm sure that Mike or one of the other chefs will correct me if I'm wrong.

so far MR6 is greate. I have no issues with sync. Just one thing.

Ever since I change the stock srpint ROM to any MR versions when I call voicemail my number starts with 1 like when the prepend option on. I do not have it selected.

Any ideas?

Anyone else have any weird ringtone behavior with this ROM? Nothing like the dreaded ringtone bug of old. But, my ringtone just reverted to Alarm-Beeps on it's own. My phone rang in my apartment and I thought my fire alarm system was going off! HA! :???:

OK, probably a dumb question, but I just noticed that I can't send picture mails.

What do I need to do to set that up? I'm just used to it being in the roms, so I've never had to mess with it.

Nothing you can do about it. It doesn't really change anything, I've had it happen ever since I started using custom ROMs.
Frankly, I don't even know why the option is there- I haven't seen anyone have to dial a "1" on a mobile phone in years.

alan7467 07-15-2009 10:10 AM

Re: [July 7th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

Got a couple bugs to report with the 07/07 release.

First, (and I think I may have already seen this mentioned), once I've used activesync with this ROM the sync status window pops up everytime I restart the phone. Not a big deal, I just exit out of it with no further problems.

Second, when typing a name or address in the "To:" in the Email app and not selecting a suggested contact or address the email app is quite consistantly crashing on me. It seems to do this after typing in 5 to 6 letters. This makes it impossible for me to send an email to anyone not in my contacts. I thought this might be a bad interaction between Fingerkeyboard and WinMO 6.5, but I still experience this exact same issue after performing a hard reset (via clear storage method), not installing a thing, and only adding a couple contacts manually.

Note that I flashed this ROM using the suggested method (shipped, new ROM, hard reset).

Anyway, sorry if I come off as a whiner. I must say that other than these two issues I am enjoying the heck out of this ROM. This is the first 6.5 based ROM I've flashed and actually stuck with. I have full confidence in Mike's ability to get this thing perfect! :)

Edit: looks like at least one other person reported this problem in this thread. There was a .cab posted to potentially fix it. Anyone have it available to upload? The rapidshare link is down.

Re: [July 7th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

i don't know if this was a mentioned bug or just an example of my bad luck, but...
every so often when i would text (quite frequently actually) my whole phone would freeze up. sometimes if i hit the start button and if it actually would respond, i would select the home button and "x" out sms from the task manager. my phone would be slow for a while so i'd end up soft reseting and it would fix it. it occurred so often i would almost say the phone was unusable since i text alot.
things to know:
1. i followed the usual (flash to shipped, flash to MR6, hard reset/clear storage)
2. the freeze would only happen when using the threaded text (not the original like when you hit the text button from the people window in tf3d)
3. i tried texting through tf3d and titanium plug-ins and the problem occurred when using both

besides that the rom ran amazingly. i'm back on MR5 beta and i noticed the problem also occurred on that version but not even nearly as much and it would recover after 5-10 seconds so i'd call it more of a "hiccup" then a "freeze"

not often but i highly doubt that is the problem. i flashed mr6 7/8 so a week's worth of text shouldn't be that much and as i stated i noticed the occasional "hiccups" on MR5 beta and that was RIGHT AFTER i reflashed back to it :(

Re: [July 7th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

Ok there was a mention on mightyrom.com for the TP update released a day or two ago that the little counter of how many characters per text message is what is slowing it down. Go figure eh? There will be an updated Diamond ROM after a while but that's about the only bug really.

Re: [July 7th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

Is there not an .nbh file or a way to flash the rom from the internal storage for MR6? My phone's port is broken so I can't use ActiveSync to flash roms via USB (plus I have a Mac), and I really want to try this rom out.

Nevermind, I extracted everything from the .exe file using Stuffit Expander and I'm bluetoothing the .nbh file to my phone.

Hi there...
First time ROM flasher here, and I have a question... I'm using this ROM on a Sprint Diamond, and was wondering how I get the icons to update PRL and update data profile. Also, how do i get the Stock Sprint animation that plays on start up...
I thought I return the favor of having the ROM available with some helpful links to download some files....these are all legal... they can all be had by going to the owners respective sites, but sometimes they say they aren't compatible with the phone..which is frustrating when they work perfectly welll... so here goes..
If you want a link to a folder with all of these files in them click this link: http://bit.ly/17CB3l
