Same here, no audible ringing at all, regardless of ringtone selected. I've heard about it with other roms, but this is the first time it's happened to me. Need to research further, because missing phone calls is a bad thing...

How would one go about replacing the HTC dialer with the 6.5 dialer?

use advanced config, go to phone, disable dialer skin, soft reset. I think advanced config can be found in programs under settings, system.

Re: [ ROM ] [ CDMA ] [ VICTOR ] [ 05.24.09 ] [ Windows® Build 21234 ] MightyROM5

Hey guys, I'm sticking with Mighty 5 after trying out a few WM 6.5 ROMS. Nothing has the same vibe as a Mighty ROM. So in order to help with this ringer bug issue I am doing a little experiment...

I have disabled the HTC Volume Control after realizing that the issue started once i put my phone from being in vibrate all day back to ring in the evening. Using TF3D I went to the Sound Settings and noticed that the ringer volume was back up to 60% but the actual ringer text as seen through TF3D was set to "Vibrate" somehow.

I am hoping that disabling the HTC Volume Control and using the stock WM volume control will rectify this issue. I will report back with the results after a day of testing at work...

If anyone else is interested in disabling the HTC volume control you can see this thread over at XDA for more details. I have confirmed that this disables HTC Volume with WM 6.5

NOTE: I am not confirming that this works... I am still in the phases of testing this. The best way of implementing this change is leaving the HTC Volume Control dlls out of the ROM. i will report back after a day or two of testing.

Oddly I don't have the bug of the ringtone loss in MR5-beta that was posted in the other thread.

Haha that's funny that a beta is more stable than a actual release.

Re: [ ROM ] [ CDMA ] [ VICTOR ] [ 05.24.09 ] [ Windows® Build 21234 ] MightyROM5

A couple questions maybe someone can answer for me:

Does this ROM use the Rhodium Notification Enhancement? I did not see it listed, but I have noticed it in ROMs before w/out being mentioned in the build list...

What is the amount of device storage available immediately after install?

Thanks!
