-7/1- AJM's Alltel ROMs - WM 6.1 21051 (3 Versions) and WM 6.5 23001

yeah im not a fan of fingerkeyboard i like some 6.5 features but the 6.1 you created is rock solid. im using the clean version and battery can last me up to 2 days with moderate usage. only problem I am having with the version is the Email does not want to work haha... anyway good work man!

I love this ROM! Everything is working great and the battery life is good too. your ROMS just keep getting better and better.

whats the problem? i havent heard of anything wrong with email yet

i try to set up the account and when i hit next it takes me back to the email tab

I just loaded v2.2 and S2A is still giving me trouble. Actually, every call i recieved i couldnt answer. I just updated to a newer version of S2A and i'll see if that resolves the issue. other than that, the roms been great.

AJM: What exactly did you do to hack battery life to be so well? I just did a poll in the regular Diamond section and the one person using your 6.1 ROM seems to have huge battery life and I got to admit I'm jealous. I like my WM6.5 MightyROM5 Beta that I'm using but battery life could stand to improve.

Is your 6.5 ROM stable enough for day to day use and does it have the same battery tweaks? I want to stay with 6.5 if possible.

every once in a while i have trouble with S2A not allowing me to answer. I doubt this is a rom problem. I see in other ROM posts there appears to be a new youtube app release. Any plans for an update AJM?

he has data shut off like all the time so its only on when you need it, it helps dramatically. his 6.5 is brand new and kind of buggy but he is working on stuff. Read earlier posts he said that battery was a primary concern, And it has fully functioning MMS! IT works very well for me, extremely stable.

im going to put together a new 6.5 with build 21815. ive gotten 6.5 to work pretty nice, with the exception of still being unable to use an HTC SIP (which i personally think is REALLY annoying. help out if you have some ideas!). otherwise, 6.5 has the same battery tweaks and, at least for me, has gotten the same results.

i dont know what your troubles could be with S2A, unless some other third party app you use is acting weird? seems to be working fine here. i will try to look around and see how some different versions work.
and yep, the new ROMs will include the new Youtube app.

I might try it but if you could share what exactly you do to hack battery life to death in your ROM to make it work so good I think everyone would benefit.
